I don't see anything wrong with optimistic markets. Overheating is dangerous, but optimism isn't.
Then I haven't tried anything more dramatic, than to draw attention to the fact that 27 EU countries managed to agree on further co-operation (instead of domino effect, that Brexiteers are drooling for), when the situation wasn't especially... well, optimistic in the beginning. Some people liked the outcome and some (non unexpected in this category, though) didn't.
Perhaps, they prefer hostility? Each man on his own? Well... there are still a lot of places where a mercenary can find his call. And a lot of wild mark where a strong man can live on his own without dependents like elderly and handicapped. But EU decided to stick together for a while longer and I'm glad for that :)
Well... Why wouldn't you start a thread on focusing on the real enemy? Whoever it is this day.
I predicts a success of monstrous dimensions, standing ovations and rivers of never-ending venom. You can, meanwhile, bottle the poison and sell it on Amazon. You'll be rich before soon.
Sorry, but my impression is that you are on a wrong thread. This one is about 27 EU members agreeing on a recovery plan. There was a lot of tension and reluctance in the beginning and during negotiation, many leaders came with their own agenda in mind and the outcome wasn't given. But they found a compromise, a solution, a common plan. That's this thread is about.
There are conditions attached to money, as the article says:
"Where there are fears that reforms are not being implemented by member states in receipt of money, any one EU leader can halt the disbursement to allow the European council of the 27 heads of state and government to “exhaustively” debate the situation."
“EU leaders have reached a historic agreement on a €750bn coronavirus pandemic recovery fund and their long-term spending plans…” - The Guardian says.
“Despite initial opposition from the so-called frugal states of the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden and Denmark, agreement was finally found, following a final 5.15am session of the 27 on Tuesday morning, to disburse vast sums in the form of non-repayable grants to countries most stricken by the coronavirus pandemic.”
Well, that's the catch: I cannot get it at much lower price. I actually cannot get it for any other price that it is sold for in Sweden. And I cannot try it without buying it first. That's why I'm comparing characteristics of different makes and reading reviews, written both by experts (you seem being one) and users (you seem being one too).
But in the end of the day it's my money and it's I, who will be stuck with the device for the next 3 years, as monsieur Butin has pointed out. Sure enough, I want something reliable enough to serve the whole time without hassle and cheap enough to be kissed good-bye without hard feelings when it has sung its last verse.
What these sites are good for is initially meeting women who you will hopefully see on your next trip there. Basically you're screening them as best you can for the eventual meetup. And when you meet insist on seeing their home but do it all of a sudden so they can't prep it beforehand. You want to see how they naturally live."
Sounds like you travel non-stop around the planet in order to check out how people live. Will we get some summary on the subject any time soon?
Couldn't choose, therefor went to forest first and then to the sea. Sitting now after shower, reading newspaper, waiting for my hair to get dry enough for a Qigong practice.
I checked the link: the most expensive (LG V50s ThinQ) has RAM 8 GB - too little for my work. Specification says "Waterproof 1.5 m 30 min", but a waterproof bag is cheaper :)
Another thing: the trusted retailer, there I usually buy my electronic devices, doesn't have LG in their repertoire and I'm not going to buy a new phone on the corner. It's nice to have a warranty, don't you think?
Thanks, gentlemen, but I work from home since the end of March (and by the look of it I'll continue doing so for a few months more) and I need a lot of random access memory (the current work comp has 32 GB and it's not always enough).
A Samsung Galaxy Fold (price 23 000 SEK) has 12 GB and I think it's the ceiling that the market can offer right now. I am looking for something under 4 000 SEK, as I am convinced that a very expensive phone has the same chance to be dropped in the sea as a cheap one, if the same pair of hands is the denominator :)
So there's no point in sharing something or other between my own phone and the work computer. Or have I misunderstood the matter?
RE: Britain’s long goodbye will leave an unfillable hole in the EU project
I agree with the title of this thread: the length of Britain's long goodbye is indeed world's beating.
