RE: Dog Whooping to Relieve Stress

If i saw anyone indulging in animal cruelty, well let me say that they would regret it.I won't stand by any watch anyone suffer, especially an animal.

RE: Is everybody as flumoxed by wall art as I am?

Want some advice?

always use the write tools for the job, and use the correct fittings for fitting the correct hanging on the material your trying to hang it on.

For instance, plasterboard walls you will use a plastic hook, which will have three pins to individually tap in.

Solid walls are slightly different, and look more conventional.

Always use "Conservation Glass" which is non-reflective of daylight, allowing the colours to come out of the print.

Pick a frame from a store (and they all have a code on the rear in the industry, so they can be matched up at any gallery, anywhere.

If you need a little help, i can probably offer advice, but there will be materials to hand, and there are no special skills required to manufacture a frame in the design of your choosing.

And yes, i have plenty of art at this end, in the real worldlaugh

RE: WikiLeaks

Exactly, and somewhere in that pile of documents is a story, or multiple stories for the media to concentrate on, buying someone else time to do something else.

I won't speculate other than to say this is because someone may have possibly got their hands on something potentially damaging, and this spill is meant to cloud the waters and give the media too much to be able to professionally analyse.(or wheel out a talking head to comment without admitting anything at all).

Either way, it's entirely political in origin.

RE: My First BANANNA-TOMATOE Sandwich

It's a good job you didn't just have cat food and bread.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Is there a height limit for your needs? Both Men and Women

Damp men, you know those who go out in the rain and get habitually soggy because the forgot a coat, don't own an umbrella, or think it's unmanly to wear a coat.

Why is it fat Geordies never own coats?? laugh

RE: Is there a height limit for your needs? Both Men and Women

Rob's fine. I'm very easy to date, i just get told to turn up, behave stay still on command and then we go from there.

I've been totally domesticated, including being able to operate a washing machine, cook but the ironing is still a bit ropey.

I don't even put up much of a fight, oh and i've been fully reminded to get used to using clean underwear.

See, fully trained, or housebroken depending how you look at it.laugh

RE: Stuck up women

These days i avoid anything with projectiles, besides i'm so tired after monday to friday i might well be unable to defend myself from a good molestation.laugh

RE: Is there a height limit for your needs? Both Men and Women

Are you sure it's not the men being damp that has made them shrink?

Mind you, i'm 42 and i haven't noticed i've started to shrink yet....even in the rain....but i'll keep an eye on that for sure.

RE: Stuck up women

Can i apply for the post of stuck up woman "companion"...

Terms of contract are from friday night till sunday afternoon.

I'm house-trained, and will stay still when commanded to do so.

Note : I maybe become defective when nagging starts.help

RE: Is there a height limit for your needs? Both Men and Women

I have to confess i do like petite women, but to be honest it doesn't matter as long as their happy looking, friendly and don't bitelaugh

Anything other than a munchkin, or a giant will be fine....but the main thing is they don't want to stick anything blunt into where the sun don't shine fromlaugh

RE: Would you die for the one you love

I seriously risked my life not too long ago, and did this to ensure information was given to a party that could be made available for my son.

To do this i had to forgo medical treatment, and with double lung failure that is very dangerous!

I even had to use the forums, to get someone a message as i could hardly see and asked them to send messages for me as quite honestly i was expecting to die in hospital.

So, i can talk from experience, and have sat there in a hospital bed, surrounded by other people with their family there visiting them, but i was alone, sat there in bed with the drugs not working, not knowing if i'd ever come out, or ever see my son, or tell anyone things i wanted to say.

Been there done that, and it's a sickening feeling so i do know what to expect when i'm about to die...it's almost in a way like a proforma invoice.

RE: WikiLeaks

It's simple posturing, but the data in the documents is a clue to the origin.

If the data is virgin, then it's been lifted at source (which is impossible with compartmentalisation, and the means to access secure files).

If the data isn't censored and all 400k documents contain no data that would not compromise sources in country, such as detailing methods of collection, local assets in the region and other matters, and all this is being leaked...well this would be gross negligence of the highest order by any journalist.

It just cant happen, the documents have to have been selected to be safe enough to release, so by virtue aren't damaging, or those identified are viewed as completely expendable.

It's just not credible, and the politicians can and will pontificate about it, which will only encourage the public to urge a faster withdrawal.

Either way, political win win for the powers that be....so there's the clue.

RE: WikiLeaks

Logs are kept of all files being copied, and compartmentalised.

So to put it bluntly, it cant happen without someone authorising it.

It's political in nature, and generally one agency is generally blamed publicly, when in reality something else happens in private.

Basically standard operating procedure will guarantee this type of thing is impossible, by accident.

RE: WikiLeaks

Anyone with any experience in dealing with classified military document will confirm that it will be impossible for you to walk out the door with the means to copy, even electronically without detection, say for example 1000 Defence Intelligence Agency documents.

You just cant receive this quantity of documents, without compromising agents, and methods of collection which will directly affect an Intelligence Agencies ability to protect it's methods and sources.

It's typical political posturing, and anyone who inspects the materials will find plenty of stories and blind alleys to go down.

But expecting me to believe 400,000 documents were leaked, without affecting sources or methods, if the documents haven't been censored is unbelievable.

Add to that the handlers inability to check the data to see if any of the data would have serious consequences makes me go in just one direction, I.E someone has ordered this release of documents, it's not a leak.

RE: WikiLeaks

Someone somewhere authorised this release of data. There is no such thing as a leak of this magnitude to reflect on the Success or failure, however it is perceived, from whatever perspective it is view from.

What it does add though is add weight to the politicians, and clearly the media and the populace will see this and seek backing for a faster withdrawal from the theatre without lowering popularity any further.

It's cynical but effective releasing of data outside normal channels. And this cannot be explained away by decent journalism, one whistle blower, nor someone of conscience seeking to rectify someones credibility.

This comes from up on high, and is no accident.....it's designed to bolster public popularity from the region without conceding military failure.

RE: If you find that you connect with someone on this site, how far will you be willing to go to be with

Distance isn't an issue really but it's about whether two people are right for each other.

As for myself i've travelled to the other side of Europe to be with a lady, but sadly her daughter and her had a heated argument on day about me which got very heated indeed.

I sat at the airport and considered would it even be fair for me to try, or if i did would i come to be seen by her daughter as someone to resent for being there and taking attention away from her.

As it happens, within a week of returning home, i went into hospital with pneumonia, and virtually died, which obviously meant i had to rebuild my health, and then work, retrain, and the issue with my ex taking my son to another country, which has hit me very hard, then came the recession and well i'm still here in the UK.

Not everybody in short is in control of their own lives, and i'm basically stuck somewhere i don't want to be, in a bad situation, where as i would rather be in the Med, trying to start again from scratch.

Now after starting a new job this week, i found i have less than an hour during weekdays between returning home and the time when i have to try to sleep.

I ask you, would anyone want a part time boyfriend who's only available from friday night to early evening sunday?

That's my circumstances...so how will that reflect on me being able to do anything other than work and sleep monday to friday?laugh

RE: Is the Holy Land ,..Holy?

I'm sure his personal intervention would immediately stop the fighting in the Middle East.

The Easy way, the real way is all those Arabs, all of them, all stand together and price cap oil.

Then say demilitarise the area, with UN troops there to maintain peace till everyone there sees justice delivered to all parties.

Justice comes in the form of limiting military aid/guaranteeing security for everyone in the region, regardless of their Religion.

There was a time when all the parties there lived in Peace, together, but when vested interests profit from conflict everyone needs to understand that not everything is black and white, and not all the facts are made plain on TV.

In short everyone concerned needs to grow up, And the Arabs need to stand together as oil producers to say to the West, ok folks, time for political leverage...and time for a former American President promises to be fulfilled regarding sub-market oil supply prices in return for security guarentees.

It's either that or let innocent people die of disease, gunshot wounds, shrapnel and apathy.

To cheapen the matter is even more disgusting.

RE: Is the Holy Land ,..Holy?

What good does your moaning like a stuck billygoat, why don't you write to your elected representative?

Then write to the Unite Nations, then CND,Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Then write to the IDF and send them a message.

Try this.

Dear IDF,

If it's not to much trouble, could you please refrain from expending rounds from either personal weapons, mechanised artillery or aircraft in the general direction of civilians.

If it helps, civilians tend to live in built up areas, where there are houses, which tend to get damaged when tanks drive through them.

If you could please keep the noise pollution to a minimum, as this affects the mating habits of a rare species of goat found in the area.

Then CC the letter to the Palestinian Authorities and other local parties and remind them not to misbehave.

I'm sure that will resolve the matter.

RE: Dogs or Cats?

My cats see fit to allow me to live with them.

I'd love a dog as well but my ginger monster is 14 now and has a touch of arthuritus.

Thus i have to put the existing pets 1st and hold off from getting a dog.

RE: I still haven't figured out the capital of Europe?

London is the financial capital, but London is a remarkably expensive, and lonely and rude place!

If you meet someone friendly, and helpful, there a visitor.

I live just above London, and i work inside London, and it varies considerably from area to area.

If visiting the UK don't judge the rest of this country by the experience you'll receive in London.Only the "Southbank" area on a Sunny saturday/sunday afternoon feels European.

I think as a visitor, possibly Berlin or Paris, though i know what the locals feel about both, is similar to how i feel about London.

RE: WHere have you travelled to

I won't bother with a list, but basically seen Europe, North America, Asia (From Singapore upto Burma, From India to the Steps).

Some of Africa, but haven't made it to Oz nor NZ yet.

Priority one is to move out of GB!laugh

RE: Funny Cat....

My cats are funny, so i sort of expect strange behaviour, but running bellyflops into boxes, my cats don't do thatlaugh

RE: Why don't people post fotos?

I have had a practical example of too much attention, or remarks about my appearance, and i'm relieved to say it wasn't negative.

But then i did constantly have someone keep making remarks about whether my hair was either brown, or blonde and in the end i thought enough was enough and just deleted them because i just couldn't be bothered to question which colour hair i had!

I've known people on this site, both who contacted me via the forums who were very attractive, one of which i had a relationship with who did not display their photos.

One i got to know very well and later she became the victim of constant harasment because of her appearance and i suspect dear Riya doesn't use the site anymore, probably because of various stalkers she had.

The other lady who won't name was also attractive, who i had a relationship with, and probably would still be doing so if not for a mother/daughter argument because of me.

Now this lady didn't post her picture because she didn't want local men harassing her, if they saw her in the street.

So unless someone behaves like a troll, i don't assume they are one, and on both occasions the person who i was talking to either was happy to put on a webcam, or just send a photo so you can put a name to a face!

It really isn't a big issue, but i don't post one because i really can't be bothered to get more spam mail or mail from stalkers.

It certainly isn't because i'm not a real person, i'm not married, no hidden girlfriend, hell if it's an issue to prove i'm real i can just plug in webcam and mic and chat on skype.

RE: TRUEFUL?

Hiya Dear, How you been? I'm knackered, started a new job this week, rise 5am get home 8.30pm eat then bed, rinse and repeat...so laid on the sofa with a cat on my lap.

What you been upto, oh and i still cant manage to get a view down your top no matter how i tilt my laptoplaugh

RE: TRUEFUL?

Yep, some are real, some are duplicate profiles, some are trolls, some are dysfunctional personalities, and some will be fake profiles to encourage you to go towards other dating sites, or just phishing for your email address to sell it.

Same all over the web, and will be the same on male and female profiles.
But if you get messages from a beautiful 22 old out of the blue, put your brain in gear before pouring out your life story.grin

RE: Is a woman's pain the same as a man's pain?

I have been a case study, when i was younger, under the banner of human augmentation/performance enhancer i suppose.

I stopped being a lab rat in approx June 2000.laugh

I do know for example that without the benefit of the same amount of body fat, i am capable of being in freezing cold water for a period longer than that of another human being without it being terminal.

I can't switch my concentration to that of memorising cards, which was investigated, and subliminal learning technologies i've been privy to as well, which have now been proven to be effective in their respective field.

RE: Is a woman's pain the same as a man's pain?

Well, want a case history?

Ok, age 14 woke up one morning with no sense of smell or taste, was physically exhausted for a week which then required a trip to hospital.

I was then advised i had contracted a virus, one which a well known international runner had which knocked him out of international competition.

Anyway, i received no further help or support from the medical authorities, but on the upside noticed fringe benefits as my brain has basically i supposed shifted it's capacity to other areas where previously i had no capacity. That's the easiest way i can explain it.

In short, the brain itself is an interesting organ, and can bypass damaged areas and reroute synaps, so i guess i was one little Guinea pig to practice on, but on the plus side i can now smell and taste food which i've been able to do for about 10 years.

That really was a case of re-education for taste buds, because food didn't taste like it was supposed to (as i remembered it).

RE: Is a woman's pain the same as a man's pain?

Conditioning is a word for it, in all seriousness.

But it's not a medical condition, i can feel the pain, i just turn it off now.

I'm 42 now, and look younger, and i've been doing it so long no i do this sort of automatically without even thinking about it.

The most useful part is i don't require lunch breaks or bathroom stops on long car journeys.

That and running down the stairs in front of a cat and crunching toes on a door frame isn't that much of an issue, 2 secs of pain then i know it's broken...tape it up then carry on! Simple!!laugh

RE: Is a woman's pain the same as a man's pain?

I don't have the copper tan out of the bottle, and my feet are normal, than and i don't have a furry coat, nor a large muzzle.

I'm trying to think of a nice aspect about a camel, ice teeth? Friendly disposition?

Camels just spit, fart and moan a lot.

Maybe the moaning part i might admit to, but the others "No Comment"grin

RE: Hey CS people there have been sooo many Negative threads on here lately

Must be a male, women rarely use the word, either way...i suspect the profile will be gone shortly.

Must be some screwed up teenager, with the social skills of a turd, crossbred with a toad to have a personality so delightful.
