Me thinky thinky, with my brainy brainy, that those with money money some 600 years ago still have the assetts nowy nowy, unless someone else killed them and stole it.
How a family who banked the French and British Empires into having what was effectively a rather long running war is supposed to be worth only say £600m nowadays beggers belief.
So the bankers and land owners who had control of the assets then are the same people who trade and deal these assets now.
Normal people cant obtain the money and influence, it takes connections.......
But i happen to know someone who's really really wealthy, i mean they are the richest family in a part of Asia....and believe me what they say goes where they live, and who they trade with.
That's easy to answer, most of the public are morons!
One of my relatives is a director of EMI, so believe me when this lot peddle crap as talent, it has nothing more than marketing behond it....no friggin talent whatsoever.
People have kiddies...it's as simple as that, you will one day as well (hopefully well planned, but it isn't always this case!).
I'm sure if you were seperated from your father of your children you'd like to appreciate you for being you, and just accept you have kids, and not view them as either a burden or inconvenience!
When you get to my fossil age, your used to meeting people with kids...and just take it as a package deal.
She does say she has "2 wonderful boys" but i don't see unemployed anywhere.
Even if she is unemployed, it doesn't make any difference, hell in the last 2 months in the UK 250,000 lost their jobs.....were in a shrinking world economy.....most employers are cutting back!
Lush, At his age with kids he should have learnt to be more understanding, and not quite so judgemental...he doesn't even know why she has two kids......hell for all anyone knows her husband may have been shot in Iraq 18 months ago!
People though are always quick to judge, and this place is no different from anywhere else
The newer people like yourself need to be encouraged to throw yourselve into it, and that's what i tell everyone who is new.
The problem is not old or new, but a prevailing attitude that this is their own private stomping ground, and as i said it is for the site to resolve this.
That way continued attacks, feuds and bile are cut out and the forums would have a happier feel and then more people would join in.
But while some people continually sit bile at other people, attempt to break people up, and generally try to upset people for a laugh, well it's not a conducive atmosphere for a flourishing forum.
So coupled to some changed behind the scenes and a few policy changes from upon high, i believe the atmosphere would be happier!
Thus now involved in another legal case this time with my sister contesting my fathers will, my kid being taken to Canada and i suspect i may never see him again, that coupled with winding up a business, being overqualified and retraining all at the same time, well you could say any woman that walks up to me and adds more pressures to my life, well...how can i put this...i just don't need the grief.
