It can't just be right wing nutjobs who bothered to vote, and didn't need to log into the site to do so. Don't get me wrong I'm not pro Obama either but the disparity on the vote numbers alone seems to indicate either hacking or some other issue with the site.

Good job it wasn't a paying site where I had my credit card details uploaded and saved. I'd have been gone like a shot.

It's very suspicious, to put it mildly.

I was considering posting a thread of the same kind, because of a poll I read with the amount of votes regarding the popularity of Obama and his opposite number.

Only about 64 people voted for Obama, and yet 80k+ had voted against Obama. No there's no way anywhere near that quantity of people use the site (That's my opinion) which is based on the amount of profiles you see active.

If you scroll through profiles in your vicinity, you'll notice how few real profiles there are, as opposed to in my region (the UK) there's more dubious profiles than genuine ones.

Now fake profiles are created for many reasons, but they don't vote or post on the forums.

So who exactly is generating all these votes, because i think you'd find approximately 50 or less people post on a regular basis on the forums. The UK forums are practically dead. You may find yourself posting to possibly a dozen people.......

Fishy to say the least.

I have to agree with Ginna. A lot of the time all we see posted here is bigoted antagonistic threads designed to insult anyone that isn't a Fundamentalist Right-Wing Christian.

Then there's the Jewish lobby, same approach. It's truly nauseating to see, especially on a dating website.

Some on here, are quite frankly mad, as mentally unhinged. And what am I going to do with them, interact or go in the other direction?

There's no real debate, it's just a chance to sling mud and spout dogma, bias and prejudice at some who cannot see it for what it is.

Personally some of the comments I've seen posted on the website since my weeks visit are disgusting, and the site hasn't thrown the culprits off. No change there, and I didn't see others reprimand Carl for his comment "willing to kill Muslims for nothing". Disgusting lunacy of the highest order.

With that, I'm off, before I say something I shouldn't reduce myself to saying.

Just because you can use your free speech, there's no need to prove how bigoted, dogmatic, ignorant and rude some of the posters are, and that is reason enough not to give some on here the time of day.

Are you surprised? Seriously Hilary Clinton I would personally trust as far as I could throw her. You'd be hard pushed to find anyone in office who isn't politically expedient when they feel like it.

What happened when t really came down to it, with all the false data perpetuated as trust by officials (in Your country and mine) regarding weapons of mass destruction.

You have to get the persons responsible, or you'll lose all credibility or any shred of moral high ground you have remaining (which in my book is really threadbare already).
The lowest thing any Commander can do, is put his staff in harms way, and then leave them too their fate. It's frankly disgusting, that the So called Commander in Chief is denying any knowledge, but then that's what I come to expect from a politician.

I personally think he's a 2nd rate Statesman. Clinton Thought he was "clueless" and coming from him that's amusing, but I do agree with Clinton on this.

You need to have a decent investigation, and if he's found culpable, he needs to be removed from office.

I've seen posts and threads designed by people on this very thread to deliberately have a go at some sections of society, and Muslims in particular.

I think it's pretty hypocracy of the highest order to make remarks about people without photos, then going off to another thread to spout bile on other threads.

Of course, had the site the ability or staff to trace and ban people other than with a Static ISP address then the loons when flushed out, would never be able to come back.

I've seen some disgusting opinions on a thread today about Muslims, where a man called Carl stated and i'll paraphrase " The Government used to pay me to kill Muslims, but i'd happily do it for free".

That's the most disgusting thing I've seen today...and he's got a profile picture!

Then there was an insane Columbian who was wishing a lady called "Greenboots" dead, and stated "what do you care, she's Argentinian, your supposed to hate them anyway".

The truth is some of the people that use the site are awful people, picture and without picture, who have vile opinions and use this and I dare say other websites to ram their bigoted opinions on others.

If your that disgusting, then frankly that's natures way of helping you being unable to pollute the human gene pool.

Well, quite honestly if their religious and you did it just to insult them or their beliefs they might thump you one! I wouldn't blame them, as clearly if you did it, you'd be deliberately looking to provoke them.

I've travelled a far bit, including Muslim countries and I was always treated with respect and in a friendly manner. I'd have no problem dating a Muslim, much the same way as plenty of people from other cultures (Like Hindi/Tamil) date and marry people from Europe.

It doesn't matter. But if you go out of your way to deliberately provoke anyone you do deserve whatever reaction you get from them, whether they walk away disgusted or punch you in the face.

Pedro, Don't go out into Dublin, and start asking people about the Potato Famine or why they didn't eat pasta instead, Someone will punch you in the face for deliberately antagonising them.

See a few days on and the thread is effectively dead as a doornail. If you threw a potato sack on some wasteland and come back in a few days you'd have found more would have happened than here on this forums.

So I guess only about a dozen people use the forums on a regular basis?? Oh dear.......it's about as popular as a Gary Glitter convention, with free entry to the under 12's.

I've only one goal in life now. How to work out how to be happy. It's a skill, and I try t surround myself with people that will have the same curiosity about life, culture, travel and live and learn as I blunder through life.

If I don't meet anyone that wants to explore the world with me, then that doesn't matter...I'm just Carbon anyway, so it's not important!

I like nice sensitive open minded creative people, with a personality and they are few and far between. I like pretty happy looking females, and life is far nicer to cope with when you have a smile on your face than with a frown.

I like it when they don't want to stick a metal pore opener in my back and gouge so hard they may as well try to stab me with it! I've a high pain tolerance, but how an I supposed to enjoy someone torturing my back? not a nice way to spend time in bed with your partner.

Can I a nice one like that near me, with a dog, who isn't shallow.....eh no, sadly. But here's hoping there's someone like that who works with Parrots or something at my local zoo!!

Oh I used to do it all the time myself. I'm doing it myself at the moment from the effects of poison I've somehow ingested. So I'll be doing the same but with 16 tins of catfood! (round edges!)or a breeze block. When you can walk around with about 40 pounds on your back for 10 miles and it's not a struggle you'll know your now fit!

Don't starve, and speak to your doctor about your BMI (Body Mass Index) who'll be able to tell you your optimum weight. The regular exercise will keep the weight off.

Just make sure you adjust the straps so the pack is firmly on your back because the rubbing if done incorrectly will rub the skin of your flesh.

Hopefully in a few weeks I'll feel bright enough to add onto a walk Mountain biking.....(great for the muscles and lung capacity)...and when your in good shape you can go down to the nearest place to swim and hopefully get a date as a result!

Ps If you see a Salma Hayek lookalike, point her in my direction please!

Pedro. I have some serious advice for you if you want to speed up the process, and increase your stamina at the same time.

Do the diet thing, and the exercise but with a slight difference. Next time you go for a walk, pop into the nearest place you can buy a backpack.

Add any weight into the backpack (like Bricks) and make sure the rear is suitably padded and secure to your back to prevent rubbing. Then walk the same distance and your heart rate will increase and burn off more calories than without the extra weight because your heart will be used to powering your body. The extra weight will make you struggle that little extra, which will burn off more calories, and the by-product is after less than a week it will feel so much easier moving without the backpack.

The military do a slightly more aggressive approach, called "Beasting" but I wouldn't tell you to do that. If you want me to shout at you while telling you to run up and down a hill though it can be arranged.
It's the same principle with wearing Body Armour, train with it, and the body gets used to working with the extra load where it becomes normal.

Don't aim for a specific number you want to hit though, just let your body equalise and find it's own level. 6 weeks of me "bullying you and you'd reach under 13 stone...though it would feel like I'm trying to kill you!

Take it slowly, and use the backpack, and vary the exercise other than walking/marching. Swimming and a mountain bike are good options, but running isn't so good for your knees and if you haven't done it in some time will result in pulled muscles and aches and pains.

Try 6 bricks, and towels...you'll notice the difference in 2 weeks when you do a walk without it. It will seem effortless in comparison.

Unless I'm staying at someone else's home, I'll sleep naked.
Tried it wearing boxers and pj's onto to have twisted in my sleep and the seem on those things can catch on the old family jewels!

My body temperature is very constant, no matter the weather, so if it's cold I used to be cuddled a lot in winter! I don't sweat in summer, so i'm not sticky or boiling hot.

A previous ex remarked like i was like her "Hot Water Bottle". She called me lots of things other than that though!
I live the intimacy of touching someone's skin, rather than some cotton PJ bottoms when you snuggle together.

That said, there's nobody to snuggle here, and have had to ban the cats from my bedroom as they are prone to running over me when trying to sleep!

Looking forward to snuggling again, at some point.

I hate to point out the obvious, but the Tory party in the UK has never been interested in the welfare of the "normal" person in the street in the UK. They look after their own, at the expense of everyone else.

Some good examples.
Look what they did to the mining industry. Closed it basically, and why, because the PM's husband was involved an another means of energy production. Consequence, The clean burning of Coal which we had substantial reserves of (and a guaranteed order at market rates from Germany)was basically deliberately wrecked by flooding mines with water, and concrete.

Needless to say it was incredibly short sighted, but the attitude prevailed and still does, that if you don't vote for them, you don't matter. It's criminal really.

What with the fake accounts, the nutjobs and the lack of actual entertainment it's not the kind of place i was hoping to hang outin (online) again.

Looks like I better find a cooking course or something to do instead in evening classes.

Normally if someone's immediately after an email address their not genuine. If they try to lure you immediately offsite there's normally a reason, like to join another site, or try to get you to pay for a webcam session!

I've only had that happen myself once, and she was honest about it! However it isn't my thing, and I certainly wouldn't pay for webcam attention!

If anyone wanted to talk to me, after a couple of email to check to see if it isn't spam I'd suggest skype. That way you can see their genuine.

That would be my guess as well.
Aussies are very direct, and will say exactly what they are thinking (I admire the honesty).

There's lots of people that aren't impressed with American Foreign policy but don't confuse that with disliking Americans.

Go to Oz, You'll love it and it's going to be a wonderful experience. Just so you know, New Zealanders aren't fond of act of Terrorism on their shores, so I suggest you don't mention that when your down there.

(They are aware the Americans knew in advance what the French Secret Service were going to do!!)
You should also be aware the tantrum the Americans threw when the Australians mentioned they did not want nuclear powered ships, or weapons in their harbours....and the Americans made a great fuss about that as well.

You just might not be aware of some of the things that your Government has done that have pissed off the Australians and New Zealanders.

They won't blame you though! It's a very friendly country!

It's bad enough that we don't even know he effects on the food-chain regarding genetically modified food. After all how did "Saccharin" get past the "Food and Drug Administration"?

You'd have to be mad to eat food that you know is bad for you, and I do mean BAD, as in carcinogenic. Do I trust the authorities regarding this type of thing.....no way, not after reading the reports on BSE and Prion based diseases. There's no way animals should be minced up and fed to other animals that are not carnivores.

All food should be correctly labelled, with sodium, sugar, saturated fat etc and if the Food is fatty and bad for you it should have a big red label on the front packaging basically saying "Processed, fatty food.Eat three of these a week and your lifespan will drop".

If you consider your spare time precious, and you are a member of this website if you are hoping to find the partner of your dreams by posting on these forums, you are in all likely-hood completely wasting your time.

It depends why your on the site. If it's to find someone to share your life with, look at the statistics alone. You have more chance of being abducted by aliens from planet "Spongebob".

For example, How many people post on the forums, that you have something in common with, that you would like to have a personal relationship with? Then eliminate anyone outside your region.

Try the mathematics, then factor in the chance that that possible one person may feel the same way about you. You have more chance meeting someone during your day to day life! Then factor if if you have the same interests, and you tick all the same boxes that you may or may not find important.

It's far better to go through life open minded and who knows what will come your way. It's a dating website, that's full of disingenuous profiles. If you think it's worth several years of your life messaging every one of them you still won't know if their honest or your ideal partner.

If your using the site as a means to get dates, and your not getting any dates, then it's a case of "Grab Life By The Balls" and go out there and see what the big wide world has to offer.

However if you sit in front of your computer, day after day hoping people will rush into your life, based on posting a short sentence, or using a few emotion characters then you are, most probably wasting your time.

You might meet some nice people to talk to and have them as online friends, and if that is useful and rewarding for you then great. However if you just want a relationship a week after signing up, by mail order then your definitely wasting your time here.

After all, it depends on what you consider your time is worth, and what your willing to put into anything. Do you think me posting a photo proving I'm not an ugly swine will help? Possibly.....but it's going from "Virtually No Chance" to "Possibly".

However if you display an actual personality, some people may like that and get in touch? Good luck anyway!!

There not good for you. If I remember rightly it's the combination of caffeine and Tanin. I remember seeing a documentary a few years a go on T.V where American kids were dropping dead from Heart Attacks.

Stay well clear, and don't give energy drinks to any minor.

Carbonised drinks weaken Bone density as well. Then there's milk, Drink that you loose calcium, not absorb it from your system!

Then there's water (with Fluoride in) which is proven to Lower I.Q.

I don't know if cats piss is good for you though. Someone try it and let us all know.
