Our thoughts shape our lives. It's no coincidence that people who tend to have good or positive thoughts are generally happier, more content than those who continuously harbour bad or negative thoughts. Think well of those around you and they will think well of you, it's the laws of attraction and karma...be at peace with the world and the world will be at peace with you.
Most people don't know that back in 1912 Hellman's mayonnaise was manufactured in England. In fact, the "Titanic" was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after New York City.
Mexicans were crazy about the stuff.
The Mexican people were eagerly awaiting delivery and were disconsolate("desperados") at the loss. So much so that they declared a national day of mourning which they still observe today.
The Laws of Karma state that whatever quality of energy we give out, we get back. Not exactly as 'an eye for an eye', but if we give happiness to someone, it will come back to us. If we give pain or sorrow, it will come back, perhaps not today or tomorrow, but some time in the future.
Found this video of Laurie Anderson's classic song O Superman interesting and as the poster of the video says..."striking and eerie."
"O superman is my reaction to 9/11 and a critisizm of American Foreign Policy. It uses Laurie Andersons song of the same name written 20 years before the event. The relevance of the words is striking and eerie"
To be fascinated to this degree by 'another' is to be possessed, this is what happens in projection. In the most rabid stage of being in love a person is unable to do other than obsess on the other, much like an infant would...the search to find the lost paradise of childhood.
