And I deliberately wanted to leave the poll as unstructured as possible. Long term relationships become friends as much as lovers but I never really thought about the start of that before - are they really friends or just people you know really well. So - what's the difference.
Yup. anyway you are either a tattoo type or not, I'd be worried someone who had started with a few would end up addicted to them and covered in the things. So I wouldn't
BTW, montage of one meet in Spain. I tried oh so hard to get a pic of Molly too but my camera shutter just wasn't quick enough, they were all blurred. Funny, that. This was approved by the others, I'm not pulling a quick one behind their backs.
Oh poo not allowed. Oh well, will go put it on a blog somewhere. You Threaders just lost out. You only wanted to see Molly, anyway.
I'm bad, I tend to get caught up in what I'm writing instead and have gone from reading 20 books a month to a trickle of 2 or 3.
However, can recommend, if you can get him, Chris Brookmyre, specifically his earlier books. I started reading him because I was needing a crash course in understanding Scots when I moved here, and he is not at all my usual type but so exhilarating and different and violent and OTT (I did say not my usual type) that he leaves me breathless and grabbing for the next. Your starter book for example could be One Fine Day In The Middle Of The Night. The Times described him as tartan noire, another reviewer said like getting a bucket of blood in the face and yet, and yet, howlingly funny. Absolutely brilliant. His characters speak in idiomatic Scots, by the way, but the writing in between is flawless English. Taught me tons.
Doing a blog on meeting up and it looks like bloggers don't, on the whole. You forum bunch, though, much bolder types. Been to social group meets? One-to-one private meets? Care to share?
On the blog, if I could coax you out of your comfort zone, would be great. Tell you why. There's been a lot of negativity about fakes, scammers, false profiles, nasties, and some people are getting too scared to venture out. If you had a good experience, or even a funny-afterwards one, you'd be doing them a favour. And if they live anywhere near you, maybe doing you a favour too ...
*Hard stare* you have a great deal in common with my cousins in Cornwall, who insist it is always sunny and warm there. The forecast may say blizzards, there may be pics on the news of people being dug out of snowdrifts, but they insist it is lovely. Just lovely.
On the other hand if I am bringing you the only 3 cold days of the year, well, I apologize. Can't say more than that.
Friends and lovers
Molly you have nailed it why do I bother with the CS collective I should have cut straight to the chase and messaged you
