RE: Was Jesus White?

Got news for you. Jesus was Irish so that makes him pasty white. Why Irish?

1. Nobody spoke about how he was conceived
2. He loved telling stories
3. He lived at home until his mid-thirties
4. His mother thought he was God
5. His last request was for a drink

Wild Ireland

Yes. There are wild boar now in Donegal! Well, at this park at least.

Wild Ireland

What's this about?
Somebody's brainchild idea of having a wildlife park where visitors can see a range of wild animals, in their natural forest habitat, that used to inhabit this Emerald Isle. Located in Co Donegal, they have a range of animals including wolves, bears, lynx, red deer, wild boar and...monkeys! I was like, yeah too, but apparently monkeys used to inhabit this land, some might say they still do! Fossil evidence of monkeys have previously been discovered at Navan Fort in Armagh.

Unfortunately, the park is currently closed due to Covid-19. Hopefully when restrictions are lifted we can put a visit to this novel attraction in the diary. I am not affiliated with this park. I just thought some may share my enthusiasm.

RE: If a person had a annoying voice...would you still date them?

If you find somebody's voice annoying, the problem is yours and yours alone. And if you cannot fix your hypothetical problem, then you should hypothetically STFU. I used to always think that shallow people were easily pleased.

RE: what caused the convid 19

Scientists say it is not manufactured in a lab. But you don't have to be a scientist to see how some people prioritise money over the value of human life.

RE: If you dye the hair on your head a different color, do you also change

It's not compulsory. Originally referring to aircraft cabin crew fond of the hydrogen peroxide look, it's where the term "aviation blond" comes from.

Blond hair, black box. yay

RE: UK and Brexit

The biggest problem with the EU is Belgium. More bureaucrats than anywhere else in Europe, dictating to everyone else about how they should live their lives. All the pigs with their snouts in the trough. The Lisbon treaty was the line in the sand where Brussels crossed over and made the EU into a non democratic regime. I think others will follow the UK unless the EU reforms. If the UK is permitted to thrive, that reform will have to happen quicker.

RE: Rise of China

@miclin
Any political system that puts a despot in charge for life, especially one that's a one party communist system, Is there to undermine western liberal democracy and extort weaker nations. Look what they're doing inside their own borders with the Uighurs and In Hong Kong, never mind in any other country they're involved in. I suggest you research the topic a bit more in my opinion.

RE: learn German language

Hi,
I learnt German when I was at school (13 to 16) but more recently chose to start learning it again. School environment helped a lot with the grammar and sentence structure. Don't get too concerned about the "der die das" "den die das" des der des" "dem der dem" etc. It will give you a headache.
I think that grammar will come to you in time, especially if you start to read magazines and newspapers. I'd suggest getting an app to learn words and phrases. Focus on grammar later. Build your vocabulary first. I used Learn German (an ipad app) which I found very useful and flexible. Try it, and if you can work with it, upgrade for a few Euros.

RE: Noncompliance Kneecaps New Zealand's Gun Control Scheme

Interesting choice of words for the title of an article. Do you know what the word kneecap means when used as a verb? That will be when a person points a gun at the back of somebody's knee and pulls the trigger. Check this out for a reality check:-

Just another right wing platform, with others piling in with unrelated “quotes”. I believe in the proverb that “empty vessels make the most noise”. So keep on posting cos everybody loves to hear your opinions.
Defending your rights to keep guns is OK. I don’t think that public gun ownership helps any society. Possibly when a new country was forged and the only guns were muskets…then it might have been “nation building” to include such a right within a constitution. How relevant that right is today is questionable, no matter which country you live in. That’s my opinion.

Incidentally, I thought this was a dating site?
