I agree , but I’m not sure what the motives are from these , “so called” , charities , when by law , only a minimum of 10% is actually sent to the victims .
Yes , the government is responsible for all its citizens, but what gets me is why there are so many charities for African aide , animals etc , when charity should begin at home . I don’t want to give £2 a month to save frogs in Outer Mongolia. I would gladly give more for abused children , who will eventually end up sleeping on a London street corner .
Christmas has been cancelled this year Pedro . No big fat Greek celebrations for me this year . Now I will know how English people feel during the festivities.
But it seems like CS has got its fair share . In fact , you’d be hard pressed to find any sanity, with the exception of a few , who have nothing better to do than clown around and post comments on any subject without any substance. Anyway, those stay away people who I remember from past years , I hope the idiot who thinks he’s funny doesn’t deter you from posting in the future .
Another u-turn by our incompetent government. We were promised the epidemic would be gone by September, then test and trace would slow and finally rid of this virus , then only last week we were promised our Christmas will resume as normal for a few days at least , then the bombshell on Saturday, without prior warning.
I , like the majority, have lost confidence in our government!!
Connecting doesn’t always mean you’re looking for a partner . If that were the case , then there wouldn’t be other features like the forums and blogs , to name a few . It also doesn’t mean you will abandon friends if you do happen to find a partner . No CS is more than a dating site , as far as I’m concerned
I’m a hostage negotiator, although like most Businesses , the pandemic has hit my industry hard . The demand has been declining, even before the virus hit , so I think it’s time to diversify my profession & try my hand at something new .
