We do have poor people, no doubt. Our poor aren't the same as the poor in Africa or South America.

Most have air conditioning, cars, homes, cell phones, etc.

We DO have homeless shelters that some of the homeless refuse to use for a variety of reasons.

Usually tv news shows the worse of the worse situations and people assume all the poor live that way.

I truly believe you could slash the government expenditures by 33% and never miss it. Sooooooooo much government waste is built into the system. (speaking for the US, obviously)

Apparently European governments are more cost efficent. It sure doesn't help America to have more government (waste).

However, Gorden Brown is biting the dust for government waste, isn't he?
