I suppose an effort could be made to treat the captured one nice and see if he would volunteer to give information as to where the child is being held?
Your child has been kidapped by two people. He's being held ransom and being threatened with death in the next 12 hours if you don't pay up. Meanwhile, police capture one of the perpetrators...but can't get the information as to where the child his being held...and 12 hours is moving along rather fast.
