Maybe she was hoping you would change your mind? Besides, I notice some people have a different interpretation of long distance, it is after all a big universe.
That is so cool. Heroes are everywhere indeed and sometimes in places we least expect it. I had not read this in the news so thanks for hauling it out. I love this kind of stuff as it restores my faith in mankind.
I believe in them for sure. I lived in a house with one. My dad though, he told me something one time that was really strange.
He was driving home one night along a fairly busy road and had just crossed an intersection. It was and early winter evening and rainy. He came across a young woman standing on the side of highway hitchhiking in the pouring rain so he stopped to pick her up. She got in the truck and off they went, they had a short conversation and about a mile down the road, he looked over to the passengers seat and she was gone. Vanished.
Apparently, a young woman was killed one night at that intersection on her way to her wedding. The woman he picked up matched the description of the young woman killed. And after asking around a bit, seems other people had very similar experiences at this intersection.
Most certainly. I lived with one for awhile. The poor soul was caught in a fire on the spot where the house I lived in was. I'd often hear him banging on the walls. This is what he was doing when he got trapped in the fire and died in that house. Firefighters weren't able to get to him in time.
Inner peace and calmness to me are the same. One time, amongst pure desolation, I became aware of the paradox of life. That is there is only one truth and that is there is no truth.
From that came balance of spirit. The fine line where opposing sides meet and cancel each other out. Where judgment meets and ceases to exist, that is to me inner peace and calmness.
Rusty armor? I made an understatement there. Not only rusty, but all beat up as well. I like that Lady of Shallot stuff, that was right up my alley. All that mythology and legend stuff.
No, I understand the concept of Devil's Advocate very well. I think your missing a point here about pictures. It doesn't matter if you post a picture or not for whatever reason and yes, I can understand not posting pics when living in small towns. Been there, did it. Do whatever you need to do to get from point a to point b.
I merely pointed out the other side of the argument of posting pictures.
Tooting my horn? I really do think you are over estimating my abilities there Kim....but hey, I'll take it. You just go on saying that sort of stuff cause it is good advertising. Nothing like word of mouth!..or hoof in mouth or something...
Oh...yeah, I mentioned that spelling thing for something KHD mentioned....it was the pedestal thing. I have to agree though, you do seem to have a nasty disposition....or maybe you just need a hug.
I do agree with what it says in your profile though, you do need kindness for sure. It might soften you a bit. I have read through some of your posts and you do seem to be shooting people down on a regular basis.
Anyway, come on in the pool, the water is fine! Let the games begin!!!!
Is This Christianity At Work?
I am posting this hoping that it will upset people enough to speak out. As a human being, I am horrified that this is happening. This is scary.Interesting that man needs to make laws to protect people from people claiming to do God's work and carrying out his law.
