I am very much a Christian and will say I would rather believe in and worship Christ and find out at the end that he did not exist than not believe and find out he does. its your choice to believe or not.but I know from very personal experience that he does exist and is still in the business of miracles
Now this thread I love.I have found I have more lady friends than men.the ones that are married have husbands that have met me and became my friend also.if a husband is jealous them he has insecurities and needs to look in the mirror.
Not all of us have that outlook.I am 67 years old and dont worry about a relationship.If it happens it happens.I of course have fun at church outings,seniors activities and long nature walks with my digital camera,.MY outlook is if one feels lonely get off your backside and get active one way or the other.I now use a cane and at times a wheel chair and I still love life,so one has to quit feeling sorry for themselves,
This thread really cracks me up 18 year olds are old enough to vote,old enough to pay income tax,rent and everything else but so many here are saying they arent mature enough to decide who they wish to be with their lives,to me thats a double standard.I work with young ladies and men and also teens and many are more mature in their actions and the way they see life than some are acting in here with their judgements and comments.
My Father was 30 years older than my mother,and they were the only ones in our area that did have a descent marriage.18 by all laws in Canada is past the age of consent.Most times it is when people butt in on a couples relationship that break ups and arguments start.One may or may not like it but it is their choice,I would butt out and wish them all the best.
hollandgirl made a good point about pensions for seniors, now I will also say that if I really loved someone and we both liked the idea of being married I would do so.I left all garbage at the curb before I came into this site.Im not totally comfortable with living togther without marriage,that of course is me.
I do have to say that I have both thin and larger lady friends. When it comes to dating I would accept either as long as they have a good personality and are clean and honest .In the end it does matter much more to me what is inside a person.
