At first, I did not see..

I have a dear friend from Mexico, here legally and a local business owner. Because of SB1070, he is forced to close his business and move back to Hermosillo for now. I will miss him very much.

Hanging out with Jorge has provided me the wonderful opportunity to get to know other Mexican Nationals, to learn a bit more of their culture, their ideas, their feelings of life.

I have seen first hand the closing of business catering to the Mexican population here in AZ. I have seen the homes and apartment buildings once occupied that no stand vacant. I have seen the less desirable jobs left undone because those illegals (only desiring to proved for their families) are the only people willing to do that job, for that pay.

Sadly, the repercussions of SB1070 have not yet been felt fully here in AZ..
