RE: Dating Mistakes

Confussion indeed. Had I known what her timeline on children was, I'd have never have gone there. She has a right to enjoy that side of things, but I just wasn't prepared to start a relationship knowing that in about 2 years, she'd be wanting to start a family.

As for other matters, they became superfluous once she finally clarified the above matter.

It seemed to me irresponsible to continue looking into a relationship with her knowing of her desire for children, and within the timeline she had in mind.

So, it was right to end it there and then.

I hope she finds what she's looking for elsewhere.wine

RE: Dating Mistakes

Clearly this girl was focussed on having kids and was mindful of her age and the mounting difficulties if she allowed too much time to pass.

I kinda needed time to get my feet...to enjoy the whole process. I mean, there's no deadlines, and you can't force it...or so I thought.

I was kinda struck by the clarity offered by her for the original statement of her being "willing to compromise".

I mean, a couple of years? Jeez, what would her attitude be if she weren't be prepared to 'compromise'?giggle

My timeline of 4-5 years was unsatisfactory it seemed.

Oh well...I hope she has her family in a couple of years.wine

Spot on.

I faced a situation were a girl said she was prepared to compromise. So I thought, ok, sounds reasonable.

Turned out her compromise was to wait a couple of years.uh oh

Biological clock and all....late 30's you see.

Well, I understood and saw no future. Happy for her to find her happiness with somebody like minded in that department.

I thought that was reasonable.drinking

Never had a shocker...can't complain.

Too much chat about ex partners is never a good idea though...I find that very tiresome.

RE: Who left the other in your last relation?

Once I was gently let down...although left with the impression it was mutual. Kind girl...few years ago now.

The other 1,274 women, I've made it known I wasn't happy and discussed it with them, or simply stated there's no future for various reasons...kids etc.

Not really a question of who left who, but only once I've regretted such a parting.crying

It's easier to blame others than accept responsibility for our own errors.

People will always use the threads for such purposes...and what's worse - they'll always have a lil group of sychophants to back 'em up.help

The phase of your hallucinations reminds me of those balmy days when the championship mould was breeding, when the fish were long, and so were the valued floats of men we drank through narrow straws...
