Very true. Often, in my opinion, folks use that 'it's what's on the inside' mantra as some sort of a self defence mechanism.

Maybe they're overweight and don't feel good about themselves and haven't got the motivation to do anything about it?

Whatever it is, it's empty. We can all help ourselves!
