Then I tend to withdraw into myself and build up bigger walls...I know this hurts no one but myself, but it is what I do.

Sure hoping those walls start falling away soon cause I'm damn tired of being alone.

Unfortunately this is indeed reality. I know many people who just have children to "milk" the system also.

I got divorced when my daughter was 3 and never received child support. Yes I filed for it, but he didn't pay and I didn't want to fight. If he could not willingly support his daughter then it wasn't worth it to me.

My daughter is now 23....beautiful, happy, and healthy. Just look at what the ex missed out on all these years. They have no contact to speak of...his choice. As she grew older...it is now her choice. Once again....what a loss!!
