I have the day off work due to snow

6-7 inches and still snowing hard....predicted to have 15 inches by tonight!!!!!!!!

I have 4 days off work for Thanksgiving as well as Christmas and New Years.

Surfing the net or on CS, reading a book, maybe watching a movie.

I used to love Christmas....then my daughter grew up and does her own thing, my father passed away and Christmas just went down the tubes.

Last year was the first Christmas I was entirely alone and I HATED it!!!! It looks like this Christmas is going to be a repeat of last year so I am already dreading it. Would just like to go somewhere and hide until January 1 and start the year again.

Working on this right now......

after years of head games by others and with myself...I am just beginning to realize that I AM someone, I deserve to be happy and have a decent life......but it will only happen if I choose to make it happen.

I have very low self esteem and am really trying to work on this. I am allowing others to make me feel bad and the time has come for me to take a stand and not ALLOW this to happen.

Don't know if I'll ever get to the point of truly liking myself....that is really hard to do....but at least I am realizing that I (and only I) have to try.....and I AM WORTH IT!!!!!

Would have posted sooner but just saw this thread...

1. Had a FANTASTIC weekend....spent with a very wonderful friend

2. I'm FINALLY learning and actually believing that I'm not ALL bad...still working on this one, but at least I'm beginning to believe it..with a lot of help from said friend

3. Beginning to realize it is really OK to take time and do things for ME...because I really do deserve it.

Might not seem like much to you....but MAJOR hurdles for me....and that's what matters!!!!!! A long uphill road, but at least now I'm ready and willing to travel it!!!
