Maybe I just haven't learnt all the lingo yet. All I know is if someone said grab the port. I'd be like ok, you want me to grab the glasses while Im there.
I remember growing up in Vic and you could always get the pickled onions in jars at the fish and chips shops. I love a good pickled onion. NSW and QLD dont do that.
And in NSW its rare as hens teeth to be able to find a good stick of Kabana they have cabanossi. But QLD are into Kabana too which is good.
NSW doesn't really sell flake either they have Hake.
Flake is my favorite fish, big in VIC and QLD.
I know that not really different names, but just different comparisons Ive come across.
