Please do not hate me for what I am going to say........men don't like women in their 40s because they either have had a bad break up before going on the dating site.....or.....they have been single so long, they seem too needy......either way......it comes off too strongly for us "mature" men to handle......but personally...I've never been attracted to young ladies, because they are so immature and disrespectful.....but then again...I'm old fashioned....LOL!!! I am only speaking from personal experience, and in no way speaking for other mature men. I am a strong Leo......and love equality in a relationship, especially in communications. Younger ladies only like to speak and answer in small phrases, which irritates the crap out of me.....more mature ladies seem to actually express themselves well.....and can carry on an actual conversation......
That is so true....didn't find out the true nature of my ex fiance until 6 mths before the wedding....dropped her just like that, and haven't been in contact with her since....over 9 years now.....I hate the Jekyll and Hyde Syndrome.....
I am fine as long as she doesn't smoke around me, since I have an allergy to cigarette smoke. It's usually a deal breaker....my ex fiance smoked, and notice I said ex.....she said she was going to quit.....and she didn't....and she blew cig smoke in my car.....that was the last thing she did around me. I do not tolerate dis-respect.
I am an old fashioned gent.....and I say dear to strangers....it's politeness....not creepy......and if a lady does not like us gents saying it, just please be nice about it, and say you dislike hearing "dear". Thank you.

hmmmm... it has been 9 years.....since I gave up on happiness and a significant other, but, this year I decided to try again, with no success I might add....but....think there is still hope....I never give up hope.......
No, I don't think so....I personally think that people aren't aware of their misappropriateness in public.....no one cares anymore. I was brought up to open doors for the ladies, and show acts of kindness to all people, no matter if they are street people or night walkers.....or people in power, I treat everyone equally with respect. I was also brought up to respect elders and children, and if I misbehaved, I knew what was coming....these days, cannot punish children appropriately, and so, they do not learn appropriately. It's sad, the future world will be limitless, disrespectful, and mean.....when was the last time you heard "please" and "thank you"
hmmmm...me, on the left side....LOL!!! Not sure about the starfish thing...but....sounds intriguing......but, I haven't seen a benefit of being alone for the last 9 years......sad to say.
I so agree....no one knows how to express themselves, without, at times, being vulgure....or mean, because they were never taught respect, and, I hate to say it....common sense. Computers, and mainly cell phones took over the world, and no one needs to think, they just do. No one looks up anymore to see things, they just bump their way through life......when was the last time anyone saw the world around them clearly? I am a firm believer in a hug a day....but with the world being as it is today, any touching can lead to a law suit for indecent touching....and so no one hugs anymore....because no one knows what is healthy touching, and what is indecent touching, no one has a clue what the difference is......so, what is being taught in the schools today? We were taught in grade school the differences.....so, why isn't it taught these days? Guess we'll never know.
Hmmm...personally, I think people are bored with each other because they text each other all day, and have nothing to discuss when they finally see each other.Thats why there has been such a significant increase in divorces and broken relationships since cell phones came into play. No one knows how to communicate anymore, and if anyone is like me, I dislike one word answers. I lose interest very quickly.....and my favourite....a couple is at the same table, no one talks, and they sit there texting each other, where is the communication and love in that?....and so, if no interest is shown in a relationship....there is no committment, if there is no committment, then people are free to explore other avenues, meaning, meeting new and more people. People are just bored, because a relationship is at a stalemate.....no efforts, no respect, and no love....which is sad.
