I went to the "job fair" well armed with 12 copies of my resume. While at the fair I had 2 preliminary interviews. I also have 4 other appointments in the coming week for the preliminary interview. So things are looking pretty good!!!
No thank you, it is the one genre I literally cannot handle, horror movies give me nightmares. Even though I KNOW it is all special FX & make believe I cannot watch them. I can read the books & watch sci-fi type movies like the Alien or Predator movies, but movies like Saw, the Elm Street or Halloween series or any of those types, I cannot sit through. I still can't watch older horror flicks like "The Pit & the Pendulum" or "The Excorsist"
What you say Leo is very true, but, eaiser said than done for some folks. Some, (like myself) need councelling or professional help to get through deep hurts, feelings and negative emotions. I sought such help through my church and it really made a difference in my life. The sessions helped me to understand myself better & why I felt the way I did and how best to "get over" them and deal with them in a rational, mature way.
There are many organizations out there to help you and many are free or low cost or work on a sliding scale basis.
