Yes actually there very extreme..can go from +20 to - 30 in a day..no kidding!
I have seen snowstorms in mid August here......

Be well prepared in this country is all I can say..

From my experience in 20 some odd years out west?

Bring a bag full of all seasonal wear..your gonna need it!

Going to make one this winter...I seen a few around town
They use water based paint to color the blocks , then put candles inside to light them up.
