I've paid some men on CS a compliment and I've had them act in a way back to me in a comment that I'm somehow a total nutcase or something.

That is the reason I was questioning this particular topic. There was nothing nutty about you, as you were just being honest. Now on the other hand I would not Say that to a lady, least I get referred to as trying to suck up. I
would also not do so on a blog, as that would also get negative remarks, That's just my way of thinking . But thanks for the response
