Interesting concept Snowy but... I wasn't thinking of a PC type computer But... More of a universal "brain" all seeing where you would be aware of everything.
As for "being stuck for eternity"..hmmm...you would not just have an infinite awareness ...but.. YOU would BECOME... INFINITE AWARENESS!

When I watch programmes about Australia, it´ s all about wild animals. How lovely to live in such a country. I love wild animals - four- legged ones! The snakes I am not so fond of. As for the two-legged ones, hmmmm... another story.
There are those who, after studying the current state of humanity, consider it possible that there are other intelligent beings living elsewhere in the universe.
Those beings are now thousands - and even millions of years - more advanced than we are, and reached our current stage of development in their distant past, and have now transferred their consciousness into a super artificial intelligence device.
They are now waiting for the time when we reach a similar stage of development and can welcome us to their "brave new world!"
