I have just seen on the news that a “con man” has received a 4-year jail sentence for conning a woman that he had met online out of her life savings. He apparently had a very good story to convince her of his ”honesty” and “sincerity”.
How many of us, here, and elsewhere on the net, have come across a similarly wonderful person who will “change our life for the better", if only we can help them over their “temporary” financial embarrassment?
I myself have met at least two - and a few more - that were suspect. At first, having obviously read my profile, they have similar interests, aspirations, and concerns. They prefer mature women - preferably with assets - and are offering their help and experience.
A few emails later..... when asked specific details, they are very vague and wish to change the subject. Then they are suddenly preoccupied with their cash flow problem and accuse you of not being understanding.
And then............. silence!
They are obviously waiting for you to chase after them, having made you such an irresistable offer!
If you don´t, they might creep back in being all nice again, forgetting whatever happened or.... they just go and look for another prey.
Can anybody relate to this? Feel free to share your stories.
But Dee. . There is no such thing as "bad" timing..."Wrong" time..."wrong" place etc. Everything happens exactly as it should! We don't know in advance what's in store for us?
If we think that we were somewhere at the wrong time and therefore we met the wrong people and had then bad luck... How do we know that maybe there was a reason for that And maybe we were saved from something that could have happened to us if we had been there?
Surely it can't be that hot in Bulgaria Pk? Here it's been in the 40s. Mind you...in Paris it was 45! My family are really suffering as they don't have AC.
I'm not looking into the future either but I'm talking about manifesting what we want to attract in our life. In other words.. We have life choices..and it's up to us which one we choose.
How Gullible Are We?
