I agree with this Molly.

In this case today...the man had a video recording of what his wife said and she was fully conscious when she said it.

So now the video has been shown in court as evidence.

Hola...I know he's waiting for a trial but...at his age... he's unlikely to be arrested.

In the case of that man...most people said he did it as an act of love after looking after his wife 24/7 for 30 years.

As for leaving some pills by the side of the bed it only works if the patient is not paralysed.

I believe many doctors tend to do that too.

A 70-year old man was recently arrested for having assisted his terminally ill wife to suicide.

She had suffered from MS for 30 years and the last few months had become for her unbearable, during which time her husband had been the sole carer.

After giving her an overdose of sodium pentobarbital, he called the police and was arrested, but found not guilty of homicide and released yesterday, a day later.

Because of the upcoming elections, this case has become politicized.

However, there are many such cases - not only in Spain - but worldwide.

What are your views on this?
Someone dying in diginity.... or... perhaps persuaded to die for inheritance?
