We lived along a river once. Shortly after we moved there. My parents went fishing every day for a month. I finally told them if they ever came home with fish I'd know they'd been to the market and bought them. They didn't catch one fish in a month.

Of course, God knows what they were actually doing.

My mother lived with me the last several years of her life. I would do it again in a heartbeat. My 3 siblings called and spoke to her for 20 minutes once a month. They are now sharing the care of my father.
