RE: Midship has left the building!

I know a lady who could
Walk on water
Had no son
Had no daughter
But boy could she ever
Walk on water.
Its not just a simple
Miracle
Rather an oddity
The way I see
Someone you should meet
The girl with
Pontoon feet.

RE: get a grip, People!!

just asking and I probably dont have to; but, do you misinterpret feelings that are just "longing for old loves" or feelngs of failure in relating (regrets) as 'love" that persists.

I doubt that you do, because it wouldn't be consistent with your other posts... just asking though.

RE: get a grip, People!!

thumbs up

be in the now, as often as you can, because that is the only place you'll ever be.

RE: get a grip, People!!

are you loving them right now? Its all starts and stops me thinks JB, remembering or relighting the fire, reigniting the feelings. We only do it when we "think' about it ... that was my point about forever, life has many other expereinces that remove the attention of any love to other areas of our experience. How long we hang on to the memory for future use depends on the time we have to devote to it and or think about it. And that too depends on our desire to do so dunno

Love isn't always enough
thumbs up

RE: get a grip, People!!

thumbs up agreed wink

A point Expecting that "love" is forever is another pitfall. You feel it when you feel it and like most feelings they are not a constant, much less consistent state of being. It's impossible! (IMHO) You can only feel love (and maybe its puppy love or lust, real love or whatever) in incrimental moments that are not necessarily all tied together as one love.

The only thing that is forever, is 'forever.' wine
