fortuneatly behavior is changeable, .... well, at least in an "aware" open minded individual it is, and that too is evolution, provided awareness is given focus ...
actually we arose from one celled organisms, transistions don't leave signs of "half" anything in any evolving species. Mutations might be a more apt word but evolution is the correct one. You're using creationist thinking to create riddles in evolution.
Did you know that we share 70% of our DNA with the tulip? and there is no sign of humanity in tulips at all
I kind of thought so ... it was rather refreshing as a matter of fact. I won't go in to why; suffice it to say, it created a paradoxical cloud in my whole brain that I found amusing. The separation of self always does that to me
In answer to the intentof the OP then; I, would have to mangle a quote of someone whom I cannot credit for lack of memory, .." I dont want a mate that is like me; because, the last person I would want to live with again is me, I have done that long enough, change is required"
So, I think Jeff, there may be certain commonalities required as you suggest; but, I doubt that engaging anyone like myself for a lifetime (or whats left of it) would yeild any significant growth. Evolving is inert without challenge or change.
Its good to know me and my opposites ... I just think that overdoing the constant appraisal of my being is micro managing, taking away time that my evolution could better use. Balance generally arises from opposites
If I want growth I seek an opposite, if I want the comfort of inertia I seek sameness. Somewhere in there is me.
much like scarping a cheese grader over your head ... why would I do that? Unproveable gods, unproveable saviors, text edited and forced on a nation and further to other nations by power brokers seeking dominance and control.... conclusions drawn from highly refuteable assumptions and questionable man made stories ...
Now The Princess Bride, I would read (and watch) again ... Only because I love it when Inego says "My name is Inego Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die"
If it werent for the Roman conquest of Persia ( and Constantines quest for power) you'd be spouting the persian savior Mithra or whatever freaking name "their" savior had.
check your history, the bible is the same sham that Persia perpetrated on its citizens, the same sham Egypt perpetrated on its citizens, the same sham that Islam perpetrates on its citizens ... all tripe, made up, unvarifieable .... it fails and always has failed the rabbit test.
I'm wondering now if a separation phase is required in my self relationship
Good question. I've been contemplating the influence of state of mind or the energy we project to the world and how that affects what we draw to us. Certainly part of being self aware; bu,t I hadn't considered whether I am compatable with myself....
For a normally logical guy, you've tossed a rather large conceptual wrench into the works
The obvious answer from my point of view is that it doesn't matter in light of my need to evolve as a person, emotionally and mentally. Keeping track of whether my present being is compatable with me, seems like personal micro managing ...
Of course since you've gone so right brained on me here, I could totally be missing the essence of the OP
ya, family sometimes has to be classed as indesposable and eventually you get used to and accept their lack of dependability, but one can only have so much of that in their life (me anyway) I have some family who I have shut out now for that reason, but some remain because the harm they cause is incidental.
