I'm not unhappy, my company cut off my overtime two months ago and then last month cut me to a four day work week. My unemployment checks are based on last year when there was manditory overtime and more than i would be making if i was not layed off. I have a friend that for years i've been telling him to write a book about his travels ,,, kinda the modern Henry Threrow(not a chance that i spelled that correctly) . I may travel with him some (hopping trains) and write the dang book myself.
Put them betwine the quote tags at the beginging of a quote there is a ( and = refers to who,at the end there is a /quote (that means end of that quote) be sure to use the () 's , Repeat as many times as wanter and text inbetwine will show up out of the quotes.
Thats not what i ment. I was layed off from a job that i did love and spent many years perfecting my skills at. Being that it's not a good time to obtain another job it would be a good time for me to explore my other pasions. I do indeed have one project in mind. I've allways had the excuse of haveing a job that has stood in my way.
Well i don't have a job right now and being i have some time i may do somthing crazy like that. The goverment gives out grants for certain projects and heck i may as well apply for one. I'm allready in the unknown.
If i had a job that i loved there would be no point in 'doing somthing i loved for a few months' and if i had a job i did not love then there would be little point in having the job.
I'm glad the Walsh family has found clousure but Toole claimed to be responcible for hundreds of murders and was quite posibly just insane. The proof the police have is a susposid confesion to Toole's daughter on his death bed happily accepted being there was incompitentence in the original investigation. The family is satasfied so that part is good, but is the person responcible still out there? At one time it was suspected it was jefery domer (he was killed by inmates, so there will be no confesion from him). Is PR tainting this case?
There are types of cherry and apricot that do not produce fruit and a type of rose that has no thornes (Queen Ann, i think).
When my nephew died my brother tryed to donate his organs, but that was not posible. He asked to donate money to a child program at his church instead of buying flowers. In his memory we tend to leave toys at his grave. I usualy leave cars and trucks because the only words he ever said was 'vroom vroom'.
Yes define exciting, i'm not going to birth a child but walking backwards off of a clif and repelling down is a rush. I didn't feel the heart beating in my feet but there was a voice in my head saying 'wou stop! what the feck are you doing now' ,,, it was kinda nice.
Seems to me that if more folks cared more about taking responsibility for themselves and their children - To the point of making a "firearms safety course" as mandatory or popular as "driver's ed" - then we wouldn't feel the need for all the "gun control laws" which don't work worth a damn anyway.
Guess what it all boils down to - for me at least - is... Don't legislate, EDUCATE!
BTW... My guns aren't weapons . They're tools . And that's the way I treat them. With the same respect that I give my table saw or my chainsaw or the chisels that I sharpen each time I use them... They're tools. I take care of them and they serve their purpose(s) well. I wouldn't have it any other way...
I agree and have seen so many people treat them as toys. A friend of mine one day was playing with his pistol, he has a lazer sight on it. He said to me if this lasers battery was not so low i could blind someone, within two minuits he screached AHH! He had beamed himself in the eye, thats where the bulet would have went if he was just a little bit more careless. I've allways been taught gun safety because i've allways been around guns and people that realise they kill.
[quote= The Japanese did not invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
Note: Admiral Yamamoto who crafted the attack on Pearl Harbor had attended Harvard U 1919-1921 & was Naval Attaché to the U. S. 1925-28. Most of our Navy was destroyed at Pearl Harbor & our Army had been deprived of funding & was ill prepared to defend the country.
It was reported that when asked why Japan did not follow up the Pearl Harbor attack with an invasion of the U. S. Mainland, his reply was that he had lived in the U. S. & knew that almost all households had guns.
If you value your freedom, Please spread this anti-gun control message to all your friends!
AND NEVER SURRENDER YOUR GUNS!
I'm pro having arms i have one myself. Japan is the only country that has ocupied american soil. The Marines went to rid us of them but they had allready left. In that operation three americans died from friendly fire. I think gun safety is more important than gun control.
