The weight of a boiler is a free radical and with out additional information on eficency of the unit or more specifics on the way or use ,,,there can not logicaly add this iron into an equasion of turning water into steam.
I'll not do the metric conversion but if I recall correctly it takes one btu to raise water tempature of one pound of water one degree. once water reaches two hundred twelve degrees it takes an additional nine hundred eighty btu's to turn it into steam at normal atomespheric presure of fifteen psi, increase or decrease the preasure and this changes. It also takes ( removal of ) one hundred fourty four BTU's to turn thirty two degree water into ice.
Your professor likely wanted you to know how many BTU's it took to convert to steam and add the BTU's to reach the temp prior to the boiling piont.

I had chineese for lunch today, I was reading the lable on the fortune cookie ( I know the fortune cookie is an american concept). When I get chineese it comes with a cookie, on the label it does not say that it contains paper but everytime I bite into one I get paper. This is obviously a problem that plauges the very core of society. If we could just solve this one issue we could end so much suffering. ,,,,,, Can ya guess my vote in the poll?
The rubish collector is a critic now? ,,, there are just too many directions to take that. ...I recently read a story about someone that found a painting in the gutter and at auction it sold for around a million dollars. My room mate just got back from Las Vegas, I asked him how much he lost. He said he did not gamble at all. He went threw the casinos and no one was smilling, the casino was winning. You allways hear about someone winning but never a peep from the loosers.
What I am trying to say is wile at a yardsale buy somthing you like. The chances of it being a million dollar piece is slim but if you like the piece then you won't be dissapointed that it is worthless because you liked it regaurdless.
Urinating on your bed is a power/controll freak thing. Do get a survelence camera, they are rather cheep these days. I've seen them with multible motion activated cameras for $40. They don't check names but it's a starting point.
PS get a wired one, wireless ones broadcast and can be viewed by your neighbors.
That is a good idear but to make it work this person is going to have do somthing wile on video. So you know who to get a restraing order against. I think video can be used as evedence for a restraining order (without notice),but i'm not a lawyer or legal councelor. For charges to be presed there has to be a notice somewhere visible that the premises is under video survelence( or it it likely will not be admisible in court).
Do you have a clue of who this person is and why? Has anything been missing? Was there damage done in the breaking in?
The details of what has happened can up the situation to detectives in stead of just the trafic cops. If someone is urinating on your bed it could be concidered a terrorist act and be uped in importance even more. But it better not be the dog doing it.
I lived at a place once that one of the other people that lived there was a " recovering" herion user one day I noticed I had a camera missing. ( i'll leave out details), My other roomate had stuff missing also. We called the police and the monotary amount of loss made the issue a fellony case so they sent a detective to gather evidence instead of an officer to write a report.
