Wow its a dead zone in here, lets stir it up. Why not discuss religion.

Wow its a dead zone in here, lets stir it up. Why not discuss religion.

It reconects with nature as a twin not a not a byproduct.

RE: Hi

Oh ya ,,, yo ,,,,,sup?

RE: When is hunting....hunting?

Do you gaff them or net them?

RE: When is hunting....hunting?

Perhaps salt licks are somthing other than the large block of salt my uncle put on the less traveled part of his property. His intention was to attract and kill. I do not agree with this idear and I am sure it was not for the deer's health.

LOL most guys like big racks.

My uncle will hunt out of season and complain that his neighbor does the same, WTF.

I do agree that some hunting is necesary to keep the population down but 'easy kill' is not hunting.

RE: When is hunting....hunting?

I've seen carcases with the antlers removed. There is no organisation or program promoting this idear, and you can not just go to someones door and say 'hey you want this?'

Dennis

RE: When is hunting....hunting?

I know people that have a salt block to attract deer and will shoot them out of season. This is bad but cows do not have a season. Why do deer have a kill time and not cattle. I have strong fealings about what is happing to our food , I'll spare you that , but do ask yourself 'what am I putting in my mouth?'

Texas is the home of Michaels and MJ designs both carry a good selection. You will get a better selection of mechanical pencils and leads at a drafting supply store if there is one in your neighborhood ( we have A+E supply ). On line just search drafting supply. An office supply store will also have somthing.

RE: Absinthe have you drank it?

The stuff you can buy today is not the real green fairy. Part of the original drink has been eliminated from the product. The real absinthe contains mild poisins and toxins that are not allowed in beveridges today. So don't expect to experence the same thing that was experenced in the past.

Dennis , but bottoms up regaurdless.

RE: Hi

oops.

I have heard this before, some art teachers suggest hairspray as a cheep fixitive. These two products should not be confused with each other. Do not use fixitive in your hair, it is not designed to be washed out. Hair spray however is usualy part organic and designed to be partialy absorbed and procesed to promote healthy hair. When hairspray is put on art that has no hair it invites bacteria and microrganisms that devoure the spray, produce unwelcome deposits and in general do realy bad things.
Hairspray also contains chemicals that will degrade paper, some fixatives will also do the same thing. I have heard that damar makes the best fixative, but there is allways a question as to what will happen.

RE: Who do you think has gone way past retirement, ie;Musician/Group

OMFG if michael sneezes he will blast his new nose off. I have allways loved ozzy, but I recently heard a recording of him opening for a baseball game by singing 'Lets go to the ball park'. Not pleasant, he should stick with songs he knows the lyrics to (or songs that we do not ).

RE: Who do you think has gone way past retirement, ie;Musician/Group

Hey! that is just bad feng shui, ,,,,,I think the OD is most likely, is there a pool?

Dennis

RE: Who do you think has gone way past retirement, ie;Musician/Group

They do have to pay bills also, but a performer is a perfomer. I think sometimes it is the off stage headaches that stops tours and performances.

Dennis

RE: Who do you think has gone way past retirement, ie;Musician/Group

I love the way and sound of the sixtys organ. I have no idear what instruments you are describing but even the more modern sound from organ/synth isn't so bad. Heck the church lady didn't kill me. (LOL her last name was Grim) .

Herodimous Bosch said 'I draw deamons because I have not seen one'

We know a bit about his family and his history but that quote is all we know that he said about his art. I ask for you to translate, What is the translation of " The Garden of Earthly Delights". there is two versions of the tryptic so specify and partial translations are fine ( the birds repersent the original tribes IMO )

RE: Who do you think has gone way past retirement, ie;Musician/Group

There are groops and singers that should just simply stop. Then there is Lenord Nemoy who should have never began. ( he played spock in the original star treck)

RE: Any ebay experts in the forums?

The last thing I bought on e-bay I had allready tryed to shop around to get the best price new. I found the best price of $650 and ordered it A few days latter I was told that they did not have that item in stock but for another $250 I could get a better model. I bought the item on e-bay for $550.

Dennis ( that company is still advertising their out of stock item, at least e-bay won't try to screw you,,,,, but you can screw yourself, so be carefull)

RE: Any ebay experts in the forums?

Just decide how much you want to pay and keep bidding on auctions of the same item untill you win one at the price you want to pay. Sometimes its just a couple of people that want the same thing. Let the people willing to pay more than you trickle out by them getting one. They likely will not want two.

Dennis

RE: Any ebay experts in the forums?

I don't think that hapens, I think the person that outbids you gets automaticaly out bid by you. So the bid goes up and the same bidder stays at highest bidder. Personaly I do not put a max bid up untill the end of an auction, last few minuits. The last item I bought on ebay I would have paid another $75 for and I think a few other people would have also. But time ran out.

I saw my boss do this on a piece of equiptment for the buisness. We ended up paying $800 for a $3000 piece of equiptment.

I do not use fixative, most are not arcival. Pencil does not smudge after it's framed. Pastel however should have a fixative to keep the particles from falling off the paper.

In pencils medium refers to the hardness of the lead. They are usualy referd to as numbers from one threw nine , nine being the softest lead and makes the darkest marks. One is the hardest and will make light marks, your adverage (generic) pencil is a number two. If the pencil is called medium it's one of the lower numbers.

Pencil is also a medium (Genre).
