I know it is easier said that done.. been there and bought the T-shirt!!! .. .but it HAS to be done... u never regret the things u have done.. only the things that you have not done... and whats this about faults... Geeez.. we all have faults..

If I am waiting for a man to find me (or expect me) to be faultless.. I'm doomed!!!! I'm hoping to find a man who likes me.. warts and all!!!!

I think 'God' can be interpreted as 'leader' and there have been many leaders throughout history which mankind have worshipped and looked up to.... it is in the nature of man to worship... if it isn't a 'god' its material wealth, fame, alcohol/drugs whatever.... but there is only one creator... there can be only one.. cause if it were more than one.. there would have been a committee... and nothing would have got done

Ya see I think that is the problem... I see it soooo often... a sense of mistrust that there must be something wrong with someone who actually wants to be with you... its a self confidence thing.. methinks.. .

I say give it a chance and don't be afraid... we ALL have negatives... if you connect with someone.. on any level.. sound it out!!!... don't venture the physical until you have spent some time with them... ya never know.. maybe when you weigh the positive/negative balance you might end up with some credit in the account... all I know is you can't go through life expecting a person to have NO negatives.. if that were the case... I'm doomed

I know there are truly bad people.... I have seen it.... u normally see it in their eyes.. and they have an aura that would make ur blood curdle... it is more rare than people think though... people do all sorts of things.. which are 'wrong' or 'not right' for various reasons.. including mental illness.. what concerns me though is this lack of trust which pervades our society.... things really aren't as bad as they seem... if we exercised more compassion, forgiving and exercised less judgment.. we would be surprised what we might find... JMV... I know its not a common one...

.... dunno... I think most 'negative' behaviour is symtomatic of fear or insecurity... (with the exception of a few malignant or machevelian people).... I also agree that 'holier than thou people' can be quiet awful... primarily because often these people can have little empathy and can be quick to judge.. .however.. sometimes what you see is what you get.. however.. rarely are these special people one dimensional...

No... but the film 12 Angry Men was partly instrumental in making me decide to be a lawyer.. that film really moved me... I HATE prejudice.. with a burning passion... and I think Justice for EVERYONE is soooooo important!!!... sadly this is not what happens in real life.. or rather u get to see it rarely.. but hell... .I tried!!

I agree they are.... this is why I haven't been posting much lately... although having said that... the obligation doesn't fall on everyone else...think if we are not happy with the topics we always have the option of contributing something interesting ourselves... Myself I have been lazy and uninspired in this regard, partly cause busy with other thinks.... must put my thinking cap on

I admire Mums... all mums including my own... (with the exception of a few) they can achieve the closest to selfless giving and loving that is possible for human beings.. dads are cool too and there are some great ones out their (so hope not offending any great dads) but sadly they appear to be less in number...

Yes its like the concept of 'love at first sight'... the seeds are dispersed initially, but then they need to establish roots in soil in order to grow...

I have experienced something akin to love at first sight... but what I would describe it as is, starting to fall in love at first sight.. the actual falling in love part comes after...

I agree... going with the flow and having a strong foundation is key.. no matter what the circumstances.. this guy was a bit strange in that I think he was living in la la land... in a rush to meet.. talking about serious stuff (marriage and kids) way too soon... was doomed to failure really...

I remember thinking at first that it was strange that you hadn't met... but now in retrospect.. I think yours was the best strategy.. cause it means you had a foundation based on a sincere objective respect for one another... good for you!!!

Where are they from? it could be that they think you are really hot, but are not prepared to do long distance..... also.. what's the harm in sending a little flower.. if its light hearted and/or funny nothing to be lost.. as for 1st moves.. sometimes you just feel compelled to make contact.. sometimes you are just not that motivated... well thats the way I am anyway.... I only bother with people who genuinely interest me (don't quite know what it is distinguishes them) but thats just the way it is with me anyway... really nice hat by the way... u kinda remind me of my Sister
