U just got the rotten end of the stick, which is not surprising on the Night Club scene... I have female English friends who are sweetness and sincerity personified...

Hi Mike The significance (where a person says the prayer with the right heart) is that it invites the Holy Spirit in.... and it is the Holy Spirit who does all the work... all we can do is share the Gospel of Jesus and our testimonies... these are like seeds... how they are received, will be a matter for the recipient.. don't think we have any role to play in this at all... I believe that God choses his Children (more that they choosing him) on the basis of the condition of their heart... only open hearts can receive the word and thrive..Hard Soil (heart) cannot receive the seed, it simply gets snatched away.... and there is not a thing.. anyone can do about that.. (apart from God himself of course) if he choses he can convert the most enthusiastic and resolute Athiest... even Saul(Paul) of the new testement is a good example of this.. he was an Anti Christian crusader and enthusiastic persecutor of Christian.. and look what happened to him.. ... I love that guy

I read some of them... u can tell even by the formatting and the style that there is something 'not right'.. the bible is like a perfectly crafted jigsaw puzzle it all just fits.. its extraordinary.. and you get to know the voice of God and what is 'likely' to come from him, because of the common thread that runs through it.. and yep totally agree, if Jesus was not a man, the scripture would not have been fulfilled as prophesised and the whole fabric of the Bible from Genises to Revelations would fall apart..

It says in the Bible that there were and will be many 'false' Saviours.. Jesus fulfilled prophesy perfectly and was a living example of pure good.. human weakness and flaws are what expose the false ones...

I don't eat meat.. have never really liked it to be honest, not even as a kid, but because I do eat fish it has never been a problem and I am not really missing out.... I can't understand vegans.. .... cows have to be milked, cruel not to... so as long as they are well treated then is not harmful to them..

that would be biting of ur nose to spite your face which would be childish and a bit pathetic... becuase at the end of the day.. the person walking out would lose out and the others well if they were nasty would have got their own way....

Hey... I think in reality it does make a big difference to a relationship what age the respective people are... we can be as freewilled and liberal as we like but if the bloke wants to play his playstation and hang with the boys in the mall and his 'girl/woman' wants to get married, settle down and have babies.. then it is most likely going to cause problem... also its kinda wierd a person (say my age) going out with someone say 19-20

No not at all, I am a devout and unshaken believer and have believed without doubt from a very young age.. what I was saying is that.. it is not the case that everything has to be proven to exist in order to exist in fact.. much of what is a component part of our existence is not yet proven or even contemplated.. existence does not come into being on the basis of proof alone.. that is just a ridiculous premise..most of the arguments establishing the existence of God are Philisophical in nature, because it is unlikely that there will ever be an eye witness and as an omnipresent omnipotent being he is simply beyond our comprehension... but when we start asking questions like.. why are we here, and what is our purpose etc... its difficult to avoid the possiblity that we are more that mere organisms that live in order to die..

But..ya know.. sick of this never ending debate.. bit pointless.. many in Jesus time who witnessed his miracles didn't believe or attributed it to something else, so the blind will always exist...

Love is an emotional thing sure, but it is also conceptual rather than a physical thing which is 'sensed' rather than seen... to that extent, the two share some similar challenges when required to be 'proven'... but yet, few will deny the existence of 'love'....

See thats what I mean... don't know if I am right or anything was just saying that while many women make alot of noise about not wanting these things... particularly in their 20's.. subconciously I think many do... a modern (wussy) man or a modern (selfish) woman is all good in theory.. but do we really want it??
