Hi to all the community:)
I'm an Italian crime journalist but i have a Bachelor degree in cultural anthropology and with a colleague we are starting a channel in order to spread the Italian culinary traditions with an anthropological view:)

I apologize in advance for the quality, this one was made with a smartphone! but the farther we go, we will get better equipment and improve also the speech

Yes my friend, they can be relative or not.
If I would, I could publish a study focusing just on economic/architectural aspects of a site, leaving the religion behind. Or you can study pottery just for its social aspects.
Religion is a part of human beavior but it's not the only one, an huge amount of aspects leaded by religion but if you want, you can study roman's baths just in more practical way (like romans was) leaving out the cult.
Or you can study a roman home, focusing both on architectural issues and the lararium.

If the main meaning of the topic is "can archeology explain religion"
no, archeology can describe it but cannot give you any answers about, this is just fantasy:)

You mean have opinions of archeology studies about religion? Are you interested about a particular religion? Maybe I can answer about Europeans ancient and modern, a bit of far east/islam, very few about americans
