So true. My parents have celebrated their 50th anniversary this past summer. Observing them, I see not only how much they love each other, but how much they come to depend on each other. How deep their love for each other has gotten especialy in the last few years. And their love was already deep. There are several couples around here, that have pasted the 50 years together.
A lot of truth here. Than there was a lot more respect for people and their property. If you didn't, you probably got a well deserved punishment. If it wasn't from your parents, it was from a neighbour who knew you. If you told the parent about your punishment, you got punished again. Than the neighbour was contacted and thanked.
The play ground battle scars, I wear with pride, for they have stories to tell.
It's winter, snow has covered the country side with it's white blanket. On a night like tonight, the moon is shining bright. How many here have driven down a country road without the headlights on?
Okay I will admit it, Tonight, I have just driven the last 7 1/2 miles home, without the headlights on. And I was driving at 60 to 70km/hr.
It is nights like tonight, that the beauty of winter shines.
My parents have celebrated 50 years together this past summer. And their love and respect for each other is deeper than it ever was. That they both still can and do depend on each other. They learned to work together as a team, each with their responsibilties. If my mom goes first, I see a big chunk of my dad going to. And I fear that he would soon follow her to the grave.
Yes, some of us have real good examples of what real love is.
Now that I have eaten that good healthy Christmas food, I just getting back to a normal routine. Just one more so called holiday at the end of this week to get by. Than the weeks will be back to normal. I also have to get the calving barn ready. Around Jan 10 The new beef babies will be arriving.
Yes you can. On the google maps. On the search for (space), type your own address (addreess, city, state/province, country). Than press search. You can zoom in or zoom out on these maps. You can even get directions from one place to another. These maps are very usefull. Which is why, many people from small communities (especialy women) like/should, put as their address, the nearest larger community or area.
Since this can also turn into the smallest town. The town I live near has 9 houses, 2 which are empty, 4 houses only have one person in. Total population 12 people. Anyone live near a smaller community?
Location: halfway between Brandon and Winnipeg and the USA border.
What kind of programs are you using to look at your pictures on you computor? What program came with your camera that transfers the pictures from carmera to computor? I have ZoombrowserEX that came with my camera. It has an easy way to shrink the pictures for e-mail. I also have photoshop, that can be used for this task. Maybe one of your kids can help you with this task. I'm a little far to come to your house and lean on your shoulder, and help you.
All my pictures on my profile were sent by dailup. (I am now on xplornet, a satilite system, and it is much faster) To send pictures on the dail up, you have to reduce the size of the pictures to less than 500 KB. ( approx 4 x 5) pictures over 1 MB (megabyte) an 8 x 10 is a huge picture to send over dailup. and the e-mail will shut down. When sending picture over the internet, it is better to just send 1 picture per e-mail. That way if the internet shuts down. At least you might have some of the pictures sent, and you don't have to start over from the beginning.
Don't be sorry. You have started an excellant post. There are many, who share your excellent prayer. There are many out here, who believe in God too. As you have discovered, there are many who don't.
Are you in the war torn area? Or are you near that area?
It is the people, that are suffering because of war, that believe in God, and thank him for what little they have.
It is the people who are suffering from lack of food, due to drought (or whatever), believe in God, and thank him when they do get a little bit of food.
It is the people who just survived a natrual disaster, who call on God's help, for strenght, just to get through the days ahead. (For God created a living earth.)
A than: The people who have plenty of food, with little effort have a warm house to reside in, more chothes than they need to wear. Money to buy lots of useless stuff, jest for their entertainment. Are the ones, who don;t believe in God, the ones who think, they don't need God. (their god is the almighty dollar/money).
It is man/woman, the rich and/or powerfull, who will use God, twist his 10 commandments, to justify their evil acts.
They are the ones, who ridicule those that believe in God. Yet God gave them the choice, to believe in him or not.
Thank You, unending, for this reminder, to thank God for the gifts that we do have.
