Absolutely! SINGLE men can have any number of platonic female friends. MARRIED men can not! Wives are too insecure and jealous. I say this in general terms as there are exceptions.
I understand that! And I applaud this. But guns in the hands of good people are not a threat. I own a gun...have not shot anyone. I was a weapons repairman in the military...never shot anyone. Why should law abiding citizens not be allowed to protect themselves?

The reason i am single at 66 yo, is that, in the past, i fell in love too easily. Now, I want nothing to do with it. I am seeing a woman now, but it's more of a FWB situation. I have made it painstakingly clear.....love is off the table.
As most know on here, I have been married several times. What most don't know is that i was married for 16 years to two of my spouses. The last one died after the 16 years. It is only recently that i have come to understand that all marriages since Sue, have been my effort to find her again. That is not going to happen, so I have decided to stay single for the rest of my life, which I am relatively sure isn't that far away.
I am on S.S. and VA disability. Trumps stubbornness would stop my payments which will cost me my rent and all other bills. BUT, what does a billionaire know about such things. Let alone care about them!!
I don't know if this is a serious thread or not. BUT, there are several nice looking women women on this site. I would love to mention them by name. but a couple of them already dislike me, and the ones that are not mentioned will be pissed that they were overlooked.

I am really surprised that the "Christian" right has not responded to this thread! The Bible states that we are to have NO GRAVEN IMAGES. Therefore ALL statues should be torn down! Even religious statues. At least that is the way I see "born again Christians" should stand on the issue!
Actually, there were many instances of genocide in the O.T. our "loving" GOD, had anger issues and His followers were frequently told to wipe out entire cities and peoples. Frequently were told to leave none alive! Great God we have!! LOL
