Funny how somethings throw our minds back, I rememeber a longtime ago my dads wage packet fell out of his pocket as he cycled home from work. He an my Mam were frantic, it was the only money coming into the housse at the time.
Anyway, later that night a neighbour knocked, her son had found it, now not many young lads would have let on but thankfully her went to her with it.
If I ever find anything I always remember that and think that someone somewhere may be worrying about paying bills or even buying food, so I would always hand it up.
exactly hun, I mean I didnt start dating the minute we seperated, was over a year before I went on a date but 5 years is to long to put your life on hold.
Thats why it annoys me to see people being so black and white about this issue.
But you dont see a sense if humour when you first see someone.
What a person looks like is the first thing we see and whether we admit it or not it is the first thing we judge on. I know that once we get to know someone looks are not as important but if we are not attracted to how someone looks chances are we wont try get to know them.
I thought a few times I was in love but realised when I was in my 30's that I never actually had been. So, yes. I will always remember that guy. Will remember the hurt of breaking up more and for longer.
