When I was a kid I always had nightmares about being eaten alive by sharks...it sends shivers thinking about being so far out in the ocean and facing such a primal creature that has evolved as a total killing machine...
Bears we don't get, koalas don't count but we lose alot of pets through ticks, obviously not as bad as your little parasites
A lot of our beaches are shark netted but to no avail..it only seems to drown the turtles and dolphins..
What sort of sharks are the most attacks? Does it deter people from swimming...I am certainly thinking twice but I love to surf in the morning which is the best time to encounter feeding sharks....
The sad part was the boy was supposed to be at school but a teachers strike made surfing appealing. No-one knew he wasd in trouble until the waves suddenly turned red.
Sadly yesterday a 16 year old boy was taken off the coast by what the locals expect was a bull shark while bodyboarding where I live. His brave friend tried to pull to safety but he bled to death. My penfriend tells me stories about rabid skunks which we fortunately do not encounter in Australia... Are there dangerous creatures where you live that inhibit activities?
I find it a solace after a difficult day of medical dramas..... An interesting blend of cultures, personalities and collective points of view. I personally don't get dramatic about it all...the internet is just one thing in my life that I don't take seriously and a good thing to 'numb' out in front of.
Honey you can hold someones hand but not chain their soul... Just be you and the right guy will be with you, happiness is some you give not take. Learn to love you.......
The computer can misinterpret communication so much...my best friend and I argue on the damn chat thing....I bet if everyone was in one room, we would all get sauced and have a whale of a time...
I guess if some people appear boring or rude time and time again they are the ones without a potential date. Each to their own and people in one room can express themselves so differently so from other countries across the world....no chance at a joint communication.
I am certainly not related to any apes...though I can't say the same for everyone I have met....
A man cut down a tree one day. Look at this fresh branch which is full of sap, happy because it does not yet know that it has been cut off. Ignorant of the damage which it has suffered it may be - but it will know in due time. Meanwhile you cannot reason with it. This severance, this ignorance, these are the state of man.
Well you are bored enough to return...go to bed then... The centre in Melbourne is run solely by the Scientology church and spends more time trying to convert people than it does concentrating on its patients...the topic was thoughts not personal attacks
I always say to some of my patients that are suffering...if God sent down a million angels now and proved of His existence...there would be those that still disbelieved.... Suffering is not the question....it is the answer.
The only guy I loved was when I was 19 and he died so I guess my worse fear would be getting close to someone and losing them.... I have had relationships since but none quite as intense as what I once had. I do strive for that again but I prefer to spend my life at the moment with commitments to working with drug addicts, travelling and friendships...
