RE: WOULD YOU GO ON DATE WITH ABOVE PERSON ????

Ha-ha....where are you taking me?

RE: WOULD YOU GO ON DATE WITH ABOVE PERSON ????

Depends if he likes older women that live a few thousand miles away but hey what the hell......

RE: what do you think about the above person's picture ?

You look like a sweet guy....don't think the party animal type.

RE: Dedicate a song to someone......explain why you dedicated that particular song....

Too drunk to f**k....Dead Kennedys...

My brother and I night clubbed last night and he thought he was the 'Gift to a beautiful blonde woman'.....Ha! Suffer Mark!

RE: What is your weirdest Phobia?

Yeah I am a weird one when it comes to a couple of things...
When I was a kid I used to have to check under my bed every night before I would sleep and I could not leave the clothes cupboard slightly ajar..(too many horror movies?)

Now I cannot ride any amusement rides that spin, even when I was a child I could not get onto those girdy spin swings...I also hate swings or watching people on them as I think they are going to go right over the top and it makes my stomach sick. Yes I am a qualified doctor and can see the most gruesome things without so much as a flinch...Figure that?
Also if towels or linen have animal motifs on them and are hanging on the line they have to be hanging the right way up or I will literally turn them upright...

RE: Did you ever have roommates......

I lived with a guy room mate that drove me nuts with little things...For example he used to pick his toe nails and leave them on the coffee table..

Eat food from a container and leave the empty in the fridge so I thought it was full...

Take forever in the shower while I was needing to pee...(the toilet was in the same room...lol...no I don't pee in the shower for those that scoffed)

Eat so noisily and snort when he laughed while I watched my fav tv show..

Fart loudly while my friends were visiting...

Yeah he was so annoying but we are still mates...not in the same house though!!!

RE: Have you ever tried to save a life?

hug

Even when it is part of your job it never gets easier....
All you can do is remind yourself that you did the best job you possibly could and it is not your decision to make in the end...being surrounded by death daily does remind me how precious my own life is..

Rejoice at how beautiful your heart must be to care for others..hug

RE: Have you ever tried to save a life?

My brother pulled two kids from a car that was on fire...they were playing with a lighter and their parents were in a neighbours house visiting friends...the kids both died and he ended up with third degree burns but the worst part is it really still gets to him...he never recovered emotionally from not saving them and witnessing them perish in front of him.

RE: Have you ever tried to save a life?

It is part of my job but during time in the middle east I pulled two boys with bullet wounds out of firing range...one later died but the other has recovered and I think of him often.

RE: what do you think about the above person's picture ?

ooops too slow...a loving family woman that is looking for true love

RE: what do you think about the above person's picture ?

A guy with a cool exterior...but softy inside..

RE: What would you DO to to the person above you?

Have a long cool drink or three with him...hey your shout!!!

RE: is there anything that you haven't done in life that you're still looking forward to doing ?

Ha...hey hon...can you tell I am a doctor???

RE: what do you think about the above person's picture ?

Mmm handsome dude...

RE: is there anything that you haven't done in life that you're still looking forward to doing ?

Yes I agree hon...it congers up an ugly pic...

RE: is there anything that you haven't done in life that you're still looking forward to doing ?

Mmmm... dont like pork though...closet muslim

RE: is there anything that you haven't done in life that you're still looking forward to doing ?

3-some

RE: Are There any Faithful Honest Women anymore

There are so many good people out there, both genders...
When you concentrate on yourself and strive to be a better person in humanity you will always attract similar people...we are after-all just mirrors and sometimes the dust that settles on the surface conceals the true us.

RE: what country produces the greatest rock stars ? performers ? pieces or art ? actors & filmmakers ?

Ireland produces great music that politically delivers a message rather than just 'I love you' crap.
Australia has great work accomplishments in film, acting and special affects..
English writers but I also admire the history of persian poets i.e. Jelaluddin Balkhi, better known as Rumi born in 1207, wrote many inspirational verses that spoke with the universal voice of the human soul and brim with exuberant energy and passion.

RE: is there anything that you haven't done in life that you're still looking forward to doing ?

Hey Gilly as you know I have travlled to most countries and gotten into some clumsy mischief along the way....
One thing I still haven't done yet is spend some time in Antartica....this will be the biggest test for me as I bitterly hate the cold although I am scandinavian! The desert I thrive in but ice-bergs?...only in my drink thanks.

RE: what do you think about the above person's picture ?

Very cool...suave self assured gal!

RE: THE most annoying of these on the forums and why ? PLEASE Post !!!

From what I know of psychology...well thats my job!!!! Bashing others actually is enjoyed by a lot of people so you will discover a lot of people lie when they say they dislike it.....some of them secretly enjoy it! Jealousy is an issue that a lot of people need to deal with and the interent is a place that can conceal a persons true feelings....

RE: Personal aspirations and Relations.

In the past I put relationships before my own dreams and aspirations and soon realised that I could not live another persons dreams and they mine....a relationship is about being in a parallel and complimenting each other rather than restricting....nowadays I do my thing, art, painting, try to reform drug addicts and fly off into the sunset when my heart desires.....the earth is always waiting for me when I return...

RE: Say something to someone-no need for names

Honey I treat junkies...kind of lose your sense of humour after a while..

RE: Holy Ka-Mo-lee!!

I see too many parents trying to be their kids best friend and be 'cool' instead of being the responsible person that sets the rules, guide lines, keeps them safe and brings goodness into their lives so they can go out in the world and make the right choices when they are faced with a tough decision...
I tell my son often when setting a rule...you are not meant to like me, I am your mother not friend...he will always come back after sulking with a hug and 'I love you'...wonder what a smirnoff can give to an 11 year old? The question I would ask her is why do you feel he needs an alcoholic drink at his age? F* buy him a lemonade if he wants a drink!

RE: Holy Ka-Mo-lee!!

I would love parents like her to come and do my shift with me! Perhaps they would slap their own face and wake up!

RE: Holy Ka-Mo-lee!!

I am working in the emergency at the local hospital and it is scarey on a Fri and Sat night to see the amount of underage drinkers and what it does to them...Parental guidance and setting a good example is important earlier on.
I think his mother has lost some brain cells along the way too...perhaps too many smirnoffs?

RE: Travel

Yes thats true...I thought about that for about five minutes and went anyway...In 25 years of continuos travelling I have often slept on the side of the road, went hungry, cold, did hard work for a meagre salary and have had more blisters than skin...but I would never regret one moment..

RE: Travel

The world is the biggest classroom full of rich tapestries...I left school at only 14 but now have three degrees through travelling.

RE: what do you think about the above person's picture ?

A cool, funky guy...
