Been to nearly every country except Turkey and Antartica.
I have lived in 12 countries and speak 6 languages, 4 fluently both written, spoken and read. Arabic is my most recent and travelled the entire middle east and parts of Africa.

I love Irish accents...they do it for me big time...

The only guy I loved that I would have considered my bestest friend is dead but I do have male freinds that I am very close to without being lovers past or present.

I have always believed that love will find you rather than you find love....so why bother to pack up the house and change jobs in the mean time....
As for vacationing...well I for one am holidaying to Ireland soon for three weeks and have met some good friends on here I plan to meet up with for a drink...as far as love...Nay! just some fun, frivolity and if we end up keeping in contact...well good for that! February..the month of love

Since Valentines Day is not far away and I am single...
My girlfriend and I decided to spend the month of love
with random acts of kindness......A little bit of giving instead of recieving.
Well I need some ideas as I have a lot of days to fill.
Any suggestions??

I fell hard for a boy named Troy...He was 21 and I was 19 and never even had a date before. He was a loner that was quite and mysterious...played guitar and listened to music most of the time. Well I was astounded when he paid attention to me...I was artistic and travelling around back-packing so we ended up hanging out together and shooting the breeze....We even cut our fingers together so we could be joined in blood...
I loved him more than life at that time...or thought I did...well he had a deeper nature than most realised and his depression grew darker...In the end he rode his motorcycle into a tree...I know it was a purposeful act as he left me the saddest note I still have and read it when I feel down...amazingly it makes me realise how lucky I am...I miss his friendship even to this day.
Well to cut to the chase...married a dickhead on the rebound...that fizzled before it started and never been in love since....
I am certain of love though and know it is there for me when the time is right...

I just lived in the middle east for three years and after seeing every man with knee length beards, I couldn't determine in the end the difference between those and camel butts...I am glad to once again be amongst a land of smooth faces...

No I am never looking for commitment, friendship is the most valuable thing to me and whatever grows from that is fruitful rather than the expectation of commitment to begin with ...
thanks again I will enjoy..I think my girlfriends are a little negative and this is what put me off..perhaps they are just jealous...

No I don't write but I am an artist so painting is my words and my muse.....
The connection to my homeland is strong...actually it has increased since I have aged and become more 'settled' in other ways...My parents live here too but my mother never spoke english for thirteen years...and still has a pigs' head or eels cooking in a huge pot everytime I venture home...lol...no wonder the kids at school never swapped sandwiches with me!
The first time I returned to Norway and Romania..(my mother is from there)....it was as if I had never left...everything made sense for once in a longtime..perhaps our culture runs deeper in our blood than we realise?
P.S...Vodka is my fav drink!!!

Rode around Morocco on a bmw600...far bigger bike than me and I only had my licence for six months...Only stacked it once and broke an ankle...Hickhiked around Australia when I was only 14 years old for three years...had to lie and say I was 19 to work in a bar so I wouldn't starve.
