That´s a hard decision... it was fun when it was fresh and new... I miss being a bit vulnerable and open...

All though now, I don´t worry about will they fit in with my family, will he be a good dad, now I can just look for a companion that makes me happy, that I enjoy sharing life with.

Did you ever stop and ponder the fact that extinction of a species is usually brought on by man taking for granted that it will always be there and therefore doesn´t value or appreciate it until he destroys it? Started with the buffaloe and ended with women willing to put their SO´s first in life.

This is getting almost scary... I was my Jr. Class secretary and dated one of the football guys that sent flowers after the play... My Sr. sweetheart... I chose... when I saw him walk across the campus...

The strange thing was I never became part of any of the "cliques" but had one or two friends in all of them.

Thanks Vinny... it´s so great when you have a child that you really like... we always love our kids, unfortunately we don´t always like them... I would choose her as a friend...that´s how much I like her, and the loving thing... no words describe how I love that girl!

I have to disagree with you and can give you a very personal example. My daughter is a stunningly beautiful girl with a charming and loving personality... (ok I´m her mom, but anytime I show her picture the guys jaws drop and I´ve never met anyone who didn´t like her)

Guys started asking her out when she was 15 but she never dated... she said that she wasn´t interested in a relationship and so only went out on group dates... until she met her present fiance. She was 17 when they met, they´ve been together for 9 years and are getting married in Feb. She waited for the right one, and has been with him ever since.

I would agree with you in the present... women have much more opportunities and choices in life.

It wasn´t the case with our parents and grandparents... especially in the middle and low income brackets. Women had very few options and often had to tolerate a miserable marriage in order to have a roof over her head and provide for her children.

X-Rebel is one of those men who can´t handle a woman on an equal level and wishes it would go back to the old days when women didn´t have the option of whether or not to put up with his crap.

If a man treats the woman in his life with respect and love, if he can care for her as well as she cares for herself, if he puts her needs before his own as she does with him if he is appreciative of what she provides for him as she is appreciative of what he provides her... then you will find women who are more then happy to create a beautiful home, cook tasty meals and raise well mannered children in an equal and loving relationship.

But the crap that you talk, and you´re apparent disregard for women will never win you a woman who is happy to do these things for you.

Ok fun is fun but then there is a comment that goes well beyond silly into completely stupid. Women and their role in the past has been what kept society together as we knew it and what you seem to be crying about missing. Now that women are no longer in the home 24/7 keeping everything together... society as we have known it is coming apart... and yes it is payback time for men, because instead of having just one job, he´s having to learn to multi task as women have done for generations... at the end of his "work day" he no longer kicks of his shoes and settles into the lazyboy recliner to await his dinner and give his kids a per-functionary kiss on the head after bathtime.

While the old ways worked for some... my parents are a great example of this. It worked because the man involved appreciated and valued the woman who did so much for him. Sadly there were too many situations in which this wasn´t the case and women got fed up with never being able to walk away from the job, getting little or no appreciation for what she did, and being totally dependent on her husband for her well being if he didn´t have her well being at heart.
