RE: 3D-printed steaks are now being served in restaurants

There is a brand, Beyond Burgers" plus a line of sausage and bacon I think. They are very good, taste like the real thing especially grilled. The fat content is kind of high tho. When I do eat meat, I like bottom round cut. Has more flavor than other cuts, much less fat. So many things you can do with that cut. Don't think they could ever 3D it...lol!

RE: 1980’s Music ….. Check it out

Some of the group members have passed..RIP.

RE: For people who ....

Most all yogurts have the live cultures. It should say on the container or label. Some have a lot of sugar tho. I add plain yogurt to smoothies. Quite good!
It's very difficult to find real olive oil. Saw an article that says most brands are cut with other oils. I also prefer Lime juice to Lemon but I guess it's just as good.

RE: Haunted

Just like other animals at those depths, they would perish if brought to the surface. They do exists, confirmed for years now. Totally acclimated to that environment.

RE: Haunted

If the do make it, won't be to "greet" us. They will be after resources, just as our species does. I agree with Stephen Hawkings...(RIP)

"I think it would be a disaster. The extraterrestrials would be far in advance of us. The history of advanced races meeting more primitive people on this planet is not very happy and they were the same species. We should keep our heads low."

Scientists think Jupiter's moon, Europa may have marine life. There are oceans under it's ice. perhaps similar to some extremophiles existing on this planet. Like the ones existing on geothermal activity at the bottom of the oceans here.

RE: Omicron... bring it on.

Thanks so much!
I'm more worried about her mother. She is the pharmacists and manager, works an average of 14 hrs a day. It's very stressful, for pharmacists as well as doctors and nurses. The company she works for have lost at least 8 pharmacists due to the stress and extra workload. I'm not getting a test, if I get it, I get it.

RE: Omicron... bring it on.

All online sources say about 3 days incubation. Stores are sold out of tests. I'm not about to get in line for a test. My daughter is a pharmacist. She administers tests and the vaccines. She says people come into the pharmacy demanding to be tested. They are supposed to do it thru the drive thru. So they start yelling at her, most of them aren't even wearing masks! Stupidity, I think, plays a part in this continuing pandemic. If Omicron can be caught even if vaxxed one should take precaution...Geeez!

RE: Omicron... bring it on.

My 5 year old grand daughter just had it. She had a positive test, low grade fever, sniffles and a bit sleepy. She's doing fine now but has to have a negative test for school. No symptoms yet for the rest of the family. It's very difficult to get tested lately. I had contact with her so I'm isolating myself for a few days. That was 4 days ago, no symptoms.

RE: Haunted

I've always had this idea that seeing ghosts, aberrations ect..maybe a dimensional interface. We might be even be seen as ghosts in another dimension, could be past or even future, especially where a lot of energy has been occurred.
It's crazy but I got this idea from an old "Star Trek" episode where Kirk was trapped in another universe and kept appearing as a "ghost" to different crew members.
Magnetic fields can alter perception, this has been proven in labs. Houses built on areas where there is a lot of tectonic activity can cause some who have a sensitivity, to see aberrations or what might be an actual interface?
Demons? They exist, all you have to do is watch a few episodes of , "forensic Files" or "I survived". Humans are the real demons.

Ghosts don't scare me but a real living, breathing stranger skulking around my house most definitely would!

RE: Farce Comedy

There is an old movie with Peter Sellers, "The Party". Bumbling actor destroys a movie set, accidentally gets invited to a big Hollywood party and wreaks havoc. Hilarious!!

RE: a discussion...on how women can manipulate men!

That was her punishment or maybe revenge. She defied God and did not return to Adam. God sent 3 angles to get her, they failed. Then God threatened to kill 100 of her children a day for each day she did not return. She never did so I guess only recourse was to demonize her. So the stories goes...

RE: a discussion...on how women can manipulate men!

If you have to manipulate a man, he's not worth it. I admire Lilith, she just left Adam flat!

RE: A movie you've watched over 3 times that you're still entertained by.

The Swimmer, is that the one with Burt Lancaster? That was a good movie, haven't been able to find it.

Mine are of Scifi which I love!

The Day the Earth Stood Still 1951
Back to the Future 1,2 & 3
Robinson Crusoe on Mars
Invaders from Mars 1953 (mostly for the score)
Andromeda Strain 1971
Somewhere in Time, (I love anything by Richard Matheson!)

RE: For people who ....

I remain unvaxxed as well. I never get colds or flu/flu shots either. I have been directly exposed to Covid, the Delta even. My daughter and son-in-law had it. He was in the hospital for a day, my daughter was vaxxed when she got it. I had to help care for them and their small children. I did isolate myself after but never caught it. My tests are all negative, even serology tests. Rarely sick at all even at my age, 69).
I still wear masks out in public just in case I'm asymptomatic. I don't want the vax can't take the risk of being disabled by it. Even if I did catch Covid, would never go to a hospital! Die at home if need be. Don't want my kids to have to pay a hospital bill with any assets I have left.
If they release the Novavax vaccine in the US, I would consider that one.

RE: For people who ....

That is an excellent resource, even for the unvaxxed.

The FDA here, sent a letter to doctors threatening their licenses and other actions if they prescribe Ivermectin now. Even health insurance companies are taking action against doctors if they prescribe it.

RE: What Are You Wearing

Yes, Indian Summer days! going up to 81 today. I'm on the Spacecoast, going up to 81 today. Crop jeans, t-shirt, flip flops. Hope it stays this mild thru winter.

RE: Do men...impress you?

I would in a heartbeat, sadly this one is married...To far out of reach love

RE: Long covid

The FLCCC has several protocols the help people with long Covid. I've mentioned him before, Dr. Mobeen Syed, on YouTube has many doctors as guest speakers to help those with this condition. Dr. Mobeen does explain the mechanisms that can or may cause this.
It's a shame that these people are usually just pushed aside and receive little help from mainstream medicine.
Mobeen is live weeknights 6pm Pacific, lectures then answers questions live from chat.

RE: Mr Biden wants to stimulate the meat market to satisfy meat eaters.

This is going to unleash cattle wars again like it did in the 19th century. Big cattle barons would terrorize even murder smaller ranchers. Just watched a video about this. These smaller ranchers were given land by the "government", but the government never prosecuted the barons.

It was really stupid to kill off all the buffalo herds, there were billions upon millions of them. Enough for everyone. Buffalo meat is much better than beef.

I'm a vegetarian, Oh well...

RE: Are you psychic?

I suspect my grandmother was but never talked about it. She and her sister had an experience with an Ouija board. This was a beautifully handmade board, not the store bought beaver board kind. They asked what spirits were present and it spelled out the name of their other sister who died. Scared them both never used it again.
My grandmother always had books and magazines about the subject all over her house, but just seemed nervous when I tried to talk to her about it.
I've always thought true psychic ability may be a sensitivity to resonance/frequencies energies? Hard to explain what I man.

RE: Do you swear too much?

In some instances swearing can be beneficial in reducing pain and stress. Guess it can help during painful medical procedures. I knew a Lamaze teacher who did a lot of swearing during the birth of her first child

RE: 2 years on ..

Not so sure. This pandemic was not nearly as bad as some pandemics/epidemics were in the past history. This pandemic was a "revenue" driven endeavor. 4 billion people gone would put a big dent in "Big Pharma" profits. They then would not be able to "buy" world governments.

I might suspect that their touted "cure all" vaccine may cause illnesses down the road they can manage with new or existing drugs..again profit. Look at Paxlovid $530 per course, Molnupirravirr $718 per course. Ivermectin which has been shown to be effective against Covid (not cure) severe illness infinitely cheaper, is banned almost everywhere except Japan.

Mother nature is more effective at "culling". One good blow from a super volcano, like Yellowstone will do it, probably a lot more than 4 billion.

RE: stable relationship

"Familiarity breeds contempt". How most of them go. Marriage vows should come with that warning.

RE: I can now add myself to the list of knowing people killed by the jab.

I'm wondering if the people who died suddenly or shortly after had the vax accidentally injected into a vein? This is noted to have severe effects on healthy people. My #1 go to for Covid info is Dr. Mobeen Syed on YT. Currently (he broadcast live usually every night 6pm Pacific) he is discussing problems with immune systems which may affect the 10-30% Jac mentioned. He lays out the specific mechanisms of what can go wrong...and treatment. I will leave links in this series if anyone is interested. He will have another show tonight (12/30). Dr. Mobeen also answers questions live.

Happy New Year to Everyone, stay safe and healthy...however you do it!!

RE: Customer service.

I worked part time at a gas station. This girl comes in, "I need a quart of oil". I asked, "what weight?" She replied, "I don't know, it's for my dog" I couldn't resist and said "how many miles are on him?" Then I quickly said "maybe you should ask your vet". She started screaming "I don't have a vet and you are supposed to help me!", then she stormed out before I could say anything else. I don't know what she intended to do to the dog with the motor oil but felt bad for the dog where ever it was.
I do vaguely recall that "burnt" motor oil was used as some kind of remedy for a certain skin condition in animals. Even if she had told me that was what it was for, I don't think I would have sold it to her as that would have made my boss liable for any harm to the dog.

RE: Santa

I always like to think about the real person who seemed to have gotten lost in the evolution of Santa. St. Nicolas of Bari/Archbishop of Myra. I'm not religious, don't subscribe to any faith but this man is one of my favorite figures in History.
It's really nice to know that someone like that really did exist!

RE: MoFunk --- Everyday People -- no hate allowed

Not sure how to post the whole video.

Merry Christmas!

RE: A song about forgiving your lover-----very deep

Good one here, one of the best songs they ever did.
