RE: Make ALL drugs legal,............... take it away from teh criminals

Speedball highs, are the most popular.

Most people on earth, use drugs that give them speedball highs...

Coffee and cigarettes, coffee and alchohol, coffee and pot, coffee and hash, hash and tobacco...

Mixing some foods gives you a speedball high too.

The turkey relaxes you, chocolate arouses you...

Warm milk relaxes you, in a cup of tea, you can get a speedball effect.

Heroin and cocaine are extreme examples of a speedball; but if you pay attention, you can find different versions of speedballs, in every culture on earth.

RE: Why must adults be mature?

Responsibility....

What does that really mean?

Response ability...

The ability to respond, is why we close our eye, if someone tries to poke it. It comes naturally.

It seems like most people think responsibility means: You own so much property and have so much savings, that you don't need to know how to respond to hard times.

To me, responsibility means: You have the ability to respond to any situation, and overcome it.

I think that's why Jesus taught his disciples not to lay up treasure, worry about what they'd eat, drink, wear, and why he sent them out barefoot, without food, or money, and with nothing but the clothes on their backs...

Sometimes whole nations collapse, and anybody can find themselves without money, food, or a blanket.

Responsibility, is the ability to respond to things that force us out of our comfort zones, in comfort.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Tuinals! Hadn't heard that name in a long while!

We used to call them "RAINBOWS" and I definitely remember the "forgetful" times I had while taking them as a teenager! Oh, the stories I could tell...sometimes
I wonder how I managed to survive the late 70's - early 80's!!
They were actually a very colorful, "pretty" pill...as pills go..."

RE: Make ALL drugs legal,............... take it away from teh criminals

I was there! I used them!

What is Tuinal?

If you are a part of Generation X, you’ve probably heard of the pharmaceutical drug Tuinal (sometimes misspelled as “Tuinol”).

This sedative barbiturate was hugely popular from the 1960s through the 1980s, drawing praise from physicians and recreational users alike. Tuinal even made its mark on pop culture; characters in films like Taxi Driver and in novels like Fight Club reference the drug, and even James Bond took a capsule or two.

Although the drug saw widespread, medically approved use, Tuinal proved to be both dangerous and highly addictive. Because of this, Tuinal has been all but discontinued in the United States and Europe. It is possible for someone to buy expired capsules for illicit use, typically sold under street names like blue tips, Christmas trees, or ***RAINBOWS.***

Individuals looking for Tuinal can also purchase them from another country, such as the Indian company Ranbaxy Laboratories, the sole producer of Tuinal today. However, taking Tuinal without a prescription can be incredibly dangerous, leading to addiction or overdose.
What Is Tuinal?

Tuinal is the brand name for a barbiturate made from two chemicals: secobarbital sodium and amobarbital sodium. Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly introduced Tuinal to the medical world in the 1940s, marketing the drug as a sedative medication. In the decades that followed, physicians used Tuinal to treat insomnia, and some people used the drug recreationally to attain a potent, relaxed sensation.

Like most barbiturates, Tuinal is a central nervous system depressant. The drug works by interacting with gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a naturally occurring neurotransmitter in the body. GABA reduces excitability in the brain cells, which calms the nervous system and makes a person feel relaxed and at ease.

Barbiturates like Tuinal enhance GABA’s effects, helping the person taking the drug to achieve a calmed and sedated state.

"And when you mixed them with black beauties, you'd get a speedboat high."

Autospell messed that up.

Mixing rainbows and black beauties, gave you a "speedball high:" like mixing coke and heroin.

RE: Make ALL drugs legal,............... take it away from teh criminals

In the 70' s, rainbows cost $3 a piece, and people who drank on them would get really wasted, and lots of people od'd by mixing rainbows and alchohol.

I used a lot of them, and injected them in my arm, more times than I can remember.

I know what they did, and how they made you feel, first hand: not because of anything I read, or anything someone told me.

Rainbows were barbiturates, they'd knock you out.

And when you mixed them with black beauties, you'd get a speedboat high.

They tended to give people bad attitudes, and magnified the effects of alchohol.

When we'd see someone trying to pick fights, with slurred speech, having a hard time standing, we knew they were using barbiturates, like yellows, reds, and rainbows... The potency went up in that order.

We called rainbows "Gorrila Biscuits."

RE: Do I look Spanish in my profile pic?

I was way down in Mexico, when I saw a man and woman with blond hair and blue eyes, waiting for a bus.

I hadn't spoken English for awhile, and was eager to talk to them.

I was totally blown away, when they started talking...

They told me, they were both Mexicans! form Chihuahua.

I thought they might be Americans, hiding out; but their body language and facial expressions also told me they were probably, really from Mexico.

I grew up around Mexicans; but I'd never seen a Mexican who looked anything like them.

RE: Do I look Spanish in my profile pic?

I agree.

That's exactly what was going to answer.

He looks Spanish and black, like a Brazillian.

Black Beauty'Beauty's were diet pills, aka speed: they kept you awake.

Rainbows were barbiturates, downers: the opposite of Black Beauties, they put you to sleep.

RE: Say Anything

Anywhere Pot Brownies, in less than 1 minute-

RE: Does anyone believe in Unidentified Flying Object AKA UFO?

You can't prove your point to me or anyone else; that's why I asked, to point out your reasoning fallacy: you don't understand how to use the word "NOTHING" in a basic English conversation.

What's your first language?

You claimed...

I knew immediately, you couldn't prove your statement. It's almost impossible for anybody to know "NOTHING" about ufo's.

See!

Here's where you made MY point.-

You back this claim, with things we all can find in the Public Domain!

Which is why, you can't prove your point.

Next time you assume anybody knows "NOTHING:" you should leave a little bit of room in your sentence, to account for the possibility, you're mistaken.

RE: What's your favorite romantic love song?

Each day through my window I watch her as she passes by
I say to myself you're such a lucky guy,
To have a girl like her is truly a dream come true
out of all the fellows in the world she belongs to me.
But it was Just my imagination,
once again runnin' away with me.
It was just my imagination runnin' away with me. Oo
Soon we'll be married and raise a family (Oh yeah)
A cozy little home out in the country with two children maybe three.
I tell you I can visualize it all
this couldn't be a dream for too real it all seems;
But it was Just my imagination once again runnin' way with me.
Tell you it was just my imagination runnin' away with me.
Ev'ry night on my knees I pray Dear Lord, Hear my plea;
Don't ever let another take her love from me or I would surely die.
Her love is heavenly, when her arms enfold me,
I hear a tender rhapsody; but in reality she doesn't even know me.
Just my imagination once again runnin' way with me.
Tell you it was just my imagination runnin' away with me.
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, can't forget her
Just my imagination once again runnin' way with me.
Tell you it was just my imagination runnin' away with me.

RE: Does anyone believe in Unidentified Flying Object AKA UFO?

"Harbal: Seeing an object that you can't identify isn't very impressive. Perhaps when you've identified the object and found it to be something truly remarkable would be a better time to come and tell us about it."

I noticed, you're assuming someone is ignorant in this post; but you haven't shown anything Harbal said was wrong...

I thought it was well spoken; and said what I said, only better.

You haven't accounted for all the ufo sightings, that really were weather balloons; and I see Harbal calling attention to them.

Please tell us, exactly what Harbal said, that was wrong, and prove your claim-

"The fact is that (Harbal) Know(s) nothing about our work on Development squadrons.at that time...?"

RE: 5G NETWORKS AND YOUR HEALTH

Internet connected devices?

I don't use anything online, except a phone. I stayed with 3g, until at&t gave me a 4g phone for free; because they wanted to quit broadcasting 3g.

I rarely turn the internet on with it.

I prefer writing on paper, and typing every word by hand, to voice activation; because I'm afraid our culture is too dependant on technology, and is losing valuable skills, that could be very valuable some day: as a matter of fact, someday, being able to write with a pen could be a priceless skill.

I'm too anachronistic, to buy into an internet connected world.

RE: Does anyone believe in Unidentified Flying Object AKA UFO?

Angels are in heaven. They come down and talk to people; but never to you...

There's invisible chariots of fire, and angels all around us.

There's a flying city up there too.

Some of the angels came down, and bred with women, making giants/alien hybrids... there's wheels flying in Ezekiel.

That's what The Bible says...

But, ufo's are a demonic deception?

What's the difference?
