Well, when I was younger.. If someone had said that to me.. I would have thought maybe we were showing a little TOO much PDA (public display of affection)
BUT!.. now.. in my advancing years.. I would be pleased to hear it!.. Lucky me!!
The 'silly threads' fill up because (most) people are happy (and want) to have some fun..some humour and/or light hearted banter.. instead of arguing all the bloody time.
Oh the plus side.. I think it does weed potential suitors (for eachother) out.. Because you often get to see more as to the kind of people they are. (and who to avoid haha)
I read something that says .. it takes half the length of time you were involved with them.. to get over them.
I don't know if thats true.. But for example: If you were with them for a year, it will take you six months to get over them.
In the mean time.. I think you need to do lots to occupy yourself. Find yourself some things to do to take your mind off it. Also maybe.. don't go to the places that are special to you.. Don't listen to special songs or do things that remind you of them.. and all that kind of thing.
Find other things to do, until you think and feel less and less for them.
