Hi everyone!! Just to let ye know im taking off my profile today, I think i've gotten the best i'll get from it, that is I dont think ill meet the one for me here. I learned alot though on the forums and ye were gas craic!! Some great people on here esp on the forums! So sorry I wont be at the cork meet but thanks Corkguy and irishminx for organising it.

hahaha, guess you're right the vote no campaign done the trick hahaha. But is it dead, given that there might be another vote in the near future and would it reemerge or just type a new one?? Im only noticing that i have Deadline for THREAT and not THREAD

Anyway. Im also inclined to ask people when threads are posted, they seem to go of the original post/comment/question. I know this isnt intentional, but wondered about the validity or importance of some of them then??

yeah fair enought comment, few months is long enough maybe, and days is a bit sharp, so is there a happy medium and would we leave it up to the moderator to erase dead threads.

You know the way threads are categorised into cs lounge, dating etc What if threads were also put in folders of months for archieving etc then if people wanted to repsond to a particular thread that is older they could.

I hate mentioning someone when they aint here online but when PT had the Vote No campaign going, should we start posting again to it. PT would have a field day with it hahaha, but u get my point.

I agree, the headline often attracts people to a particular interest and they investigate and reply. I just seen a thread that lay for months and the a reply and hey its back to prominance again, not that its a bad thing, but when is a discussion thread over.

Hi all was wondering (been doing alot of that lately) if we should call a halt or put a deadline on some of the threads.

I have stumbled upon a few that are some 20 pages long, which isnt a problem, but with some gaps between posts of days.

So could or should the moderator put a life span on threads .

P.S. Last reply by Friday midnight (didnt say which friday though lol)

Im afraid mickey will have to be more specific when he wants normal and to say the profiles arent what they say or mean well im kinda in agreement in that respect. But then again we should judge peoples profiles as in dont judge a book by its cover moto or is that a complete crock and myth?????????/

Haha yeah Crystal, normal is a disturbing thought especially as we have a different sense of what normal is hahaha.

Well lad, its very simple. There are loads on this site that are nice women, you just have to look. The meeting will come in time. if i had hints, well, profiles are somewhat of a mistry to me so wouldnt overly pay too much attention to them, bar the obvious comments on them, then there the very illusive picture. Some on here feel it better not to reply to an individual without a picture as "they like to see who they are talking to" and some dont care as they get a sense of who you are through mailing etc.

If i were to give you any hints (not advice per say) I would check out the various forums and thread posting on the site from time to time. The cs members will get a better idea of who you really are through the mail and postings and see what happend. Drop a few flowers and emails to people you like or would like to chat to through cs.

Last but not least, when you asked about meeting a "normal down to earth woman" can you or anyone tell me what is NORMAL, for i think im normal but many think im mad
maybe my normal is mad etc.

Either way, enjoy the SITE, its good craic, with some really nice woman and men(aheem).

So what do we say when "you have love and lost" and then we rely on our friends. So is love the best or true friendship. Granted i didnt state what level of love or frinedhsip, e.g. I love football but Im not friends with it. Also because im not friends with it or someone doesnt mean i dont like them. Why do people in relationships suggest that their partner has to be their best friend. Again just wondering...........?????????????????

One of my dates took me to meet his parents - in the GRAVEYARD!!! Yes seriously!

arranged to meet a Lady (ahemmm) in a bar. Met up and had a drink, but couldnt take my eyes off her (ahemm) for the wrong reasons. Turned out she was a HEEE , bit of a crying game moment without having got that Far thank the lord. When i realised it i said it and he was grand when i said i wasnt into that. turned oout he was a cool guy and was great craic and really nice person, although he did lead me along over the net.

Jesus i can still remember that night, went from excitment, to wondering, to ughhhhh, to laughing my sides off. So strangest (sort of not) date

my 1.8. to 2.19 wasnt far away in margin terms. The game went the way evryone thought, as wex would keep somewhere near until half time them killk would pull away in second half. To be fair, cats are class outfit.

They are Fav for title again with only tipp looking like the only threat out there.

Amm sorry the reality is theres no hope after last years fluke. Again an average dublin team the faltered a bit. However, winning the leinster trophy is not much given what is there at the moment. Can/could/would they translate any possible (and its extreemly slim) win into a surge for the liam mc carthy??? again i dont think so. Liam griffen would need to be redeployed in some capacity for wexford to have any realistic chance of bringing their youth structure and participants through to have a team again.

Voicemial and texts dont always come through on time and some of my texts havent been recieved at all.

If you make the contact face to face then its not you chasing. Those who just say not to may have had a bad experience or even missed someone that may have been good for them. Its a chance we take.

If you meet him, chat and see how things are. Dont just drop it. Honestly which would you rather, tried and not worked, or leave it and wonder. Even if you are more into him, you'll see this when you get to chat with him FACE TO FACE.
