Yes but we then produce the steel here , steel in the long term is a green industry, steel is renewable recyclable material but if we are taxed on the production sude here it will be cheaper to buy ofshore disableing our Australian indusry and NOT reducing the planets emmissions only Australias which are minute compared to offshore anyway
I feel the tax is ridiculous only as it will have little or no impact on carbon emmissions reductions ,it will encourage manufacturers to import products like steel as it will be cheaper to but ofshore than right here this could potentially put our steel industry outta business ands at the same time create more emmisions ofshore so its not a reduction but a relocation, The only way a carbon tax cou;d be benificial would be if other importedcarbon heavy good be taxed proir to entry into australia , ofcourse the govement has no jurisdiction to impose a tax because of our trading agreements . Reducing our carbon is a very big issue , its important to our planet but industry is important to our nation , There is no easy answer I feel more reasearch needs to go into this tax and the ramifications of it ,Its not the money I mean ide happily pay $10 a week to help reduce carbon emmissions but not to just move them ofshore ....dumb
I thinkpeopole who have a history of drug or alcohol addiction should have to have contraception untill they are no longer dependant. Ide also like to see adoption of children more accesable to childless couples and the exhorborant fees abolished to do so will mean more children from third world countries could be saved and given loving homes Ide gladly sponser an adoption ....
Ok yeah Ide at least like to see defensive driving actually taught in schools , I think they should do at least 40 hrs learning what to do in an emergency and also some class time on road fatalities , speed etc .

I think one of the big issues today is violence, alot of it is alcolhol fuelled .I know alot of the kids binge before they go out , I mean at $6 a beer who can blame them however its making a culture of pissed peeps hitting the nite clubs and then topping up all nite .Pre- drinks they call it but pass the cask and shots are common place skull !!! By the time they get to the club there pissed totally these kids cant handle it and are getting into trouble. I suggest a chip on their licence giving them the option for 5 drinks from sober per nite they be breathe tested on arrival & have to swip their card for limit & id purposes.I feel this wou;ld cut the drunken brawls by stax and also the road toll
What would you do if you could change/create a law or policy within Australia that would have a direct benifit to our countryand our people .Can be minor or major , give us your ideas & feed back , on changing things for the better socialy environmentally what eva ....be specific & as detailed as you can as to how your new order will work .
I know it bites especially if online or on the phone you get on and then well there the opposite of what youde hoped and imagined the smoking would have done me too oh and the piercings yick groossssss but Im sure there is a bogan for every bogan ....
