Too many live in a welfare mentality.... They want housing they want money but they dont want to better themselves while they have these opportunities.They think they are "set" This has to change !! Sure you can have subsidised rent for" awhile"In that time go to Tafe"for free" Get educated"for free" Have childcare"for free" Then get a job and either pay rent of buy a place & let someone else get a leg up not a hand out !
Hi Merri, If single people have shared custody they generally will be conciderations , what i dont agree with is three & four bdrm homes with 1 person living in it !If their Brood has grown up and left the nest then its time to hand it over to someone who is just starting out.Maybee these "houso hogs' should think back to when they got their chance at subsidied rent and somewhere to raise their family and remember for a minute that their are others 31,000 of them waiting for their turn!!!

Im noway a liberal, I see the single 60 yr old living in a 3 bdrm HC when there are new single units available , here atm they have a choice most dont and the lists for families get longer , women stay in DV situations because they wont see themselves & kids homeless, cause if they do their kids can be removed !!!Just because youve lived somewhener for years doesnt mean its yours , I rented all my life I had to move for many reasons get over it If it isnt yours then you have to suck it up and move Kids need homes where they have a yard and feel secure !!!D

Your right Martia Paint is so instant refresh I bought my old place painted before I moved in and wow looks great people cant believe I got it so well priced .I am also a big fan of buying cheap off the internet I am in the process off knocking out a back wall & putting bi-fold doors to open onto my new deck new $4000 ebay 2200 gumtree $500 I had to pay frieght and they are second hand but man is it going to look great!! I recently put a deck on and got all the new coulour bond roofing off a bankrupt company along with 25 metres of pavers .....gotta love a bargain
