The Plan:

Take a sick day. Fix a nice picnic basket. Include a rose and a one stem vase, and a soft comfy blanket/quilt (along with food and drink OTHER THAN peanut butter and jam and Pepsi). Surprise your honey for lunch. Take them to a park/beach/roof top overlooking the city/etc. (Preferably somewhere where it would be "possible" to make love), and lay out your picnic. If they're not willing to skip afternoon work, to stay with you and share the afternoon/night, then you know it's time to move on and find that one who thinks you're more important than the boss/job/daily routine.

Just a thought.

No problem, my friend. But this thread has been up for a month, now. and people haven't filled it up YET! I stopped for a week, way back in the early pages of this thread. But nobody (only a few of us) were contributing anything! Som I started up again. I've added some songs that most people probably know. But I've also added some that most people have probably never heard of. I've tried to introduce folks to music that they're not familiar with. And I haven't loaded up on any particular artist. And I've purposely avoided those that others HAVE posted!

Now, YOU want to tell me to give everybody a chance! Go for it man! I've seen at least three posts, by YOU, which count against the number of contributions that can be made to this thread. But you haven't ONCE uploaded a song! What's the matter? You DON'T know any love songs? Instead of telling people to STOP contributing to the community. why don't YOU START contributing to this community??????

As "The Doors" so eloquently put it, "When the music's over, turn out the lights! Turn out the lights! Turn out the lights!" Music is the one thing I'd have trouble living without. At present, my CD collection only has about 1,500 albums in it. But that because I had a problem a few years back, and lost probably as many as I now have.

As far as Maria is concerned, the last time I bumped into her she was still singing and recording, but she's mainly singing blues, now. But she DOES have her own "style", which is why I love her.

And, since you mention the "Dead", tell me. Should I add my favorite "Dead" song "Uncle John's Band" to this list? Most people wouldn't consider it a "Love Song", I think. But "I" do.

Yes, With you, I can EASILY see that anyone wanting more than a little tap dancing, is most likely to BE "disappointed"! Being a ONE DIMENSIONAL person (as YOU seem to be), CAN BE a handicap!

No offense, Mr. Harbal, but you don't appear to be worth my time and conversation. So I sorta doubt you'll be hearing much from me, in the future. But DON'T take that as a "Win"! There's NOTHING to be "won" OR "lost", in a conversation with you! Such "conversation", if such it can be called, is pointless. There's NO worthwhile CONTRIBUTION, from YOUR side!

No offense, sweetheart, but you're NEVER going to find a man who will NEVER hurt you! The BEST you can do is find a guy that is concerned ENOUGH about you to NOT hurt you INTENTIONALLY! And who will hold you in his arms and apologise to you when he figures out he has! Just saying - DON'T let absolute "perfection" stand in the was of a "VERY GOOD" life! Always and never will ALMOST always screw things up!

I think it would make MORE sense (IF making some bucks is your objective) to go back to Nov. 1941, and place all the money on Japan attacking Pearl harbor. Then travel to Los Altos in 1976 and invest all my winnings in Apple Computers, which was incorporated, but not selling anything yet! And then come back to today, Buy a mice island somewhere and put my feet up and sip daiquiris for the rest of my life! No! I wouldn't do that. I'd buy a 200 foot ketch, find a bunch of young healthy girls I could teach to handle the boat, hire them and spend the rest of my life traveling, meeting people, and having fun!
