I can accept that you're not here to impress anyone. Even that your PRIMARY motive, here, is "amusement". But is there EVER a BAD forum for the exchange of knowledge/information? I know, as well as you know, that good banter IS a "skill". But might not SOME FEW of those, here, be interested/intrigued that you have OTHER facets to your diamond? And might THAT not CONTRIBUTE it's small bit to your "luster"?
I've read enough of your post, to know that you have "discernment". I guess my question could be reduced to "Is there a particular "cause" for your disinclination to put in the "work" of having the conversation you're capable of?"
I might also add that I HAVEN'T "given up"! I just think discretion is the better part of valor, and have taken MY objections/actions "underground". HOPEFULLY enough of us will SURVIVE to CONTINUE to take the fight TO them!
Alright, one. You don't seem to be a great respecter of people/things, and neither am I. But I DO believe in certain concepts/ideas. You seem to be an intelligent man. Please tell me WHY you insist in/on bantering conversation, instead of using that intellect to communicate towards/for some purpose OTHER THAN "amusement"? PS: I MIGHT add that, IF you had said that "Justice SHOULD be served" I wouldn't have have DISagreed with you! Butm by saying that "Justice MUST be served", you make me wonder WHO your connection is? That MUST be some PRETTY POTENT "stuff" you're smoking!
No offense meant, Lindsey, but your title is a MISplaced "hope"! "Justice" is RARELY served! And MOST RARELY in politics!
WHY? Because politicians have NO interest in/incentive to seeing to it's being "served"! IF they were to see to it's being "served" to/on one politician, then they would advance the possibility of it being served to/on THEM! So it's only in the MOST EGREGIOUS cases that a politician will have any interest in pursuing "justice". And only THEN, because (for the reason(s) of self preservation) he CAN'T be seen to OPPOSE it!
So I (IF I were you) wouldn't EXPECT too much to happen, after this "revelation"! THIS is just ANOTHER example of what OUR "system" of politics has devolved into. The fact that it was disclosed, at all, is just ANOTHER example of the "politics" by which our political system operates! Do you think it would have been released, if Hillary was president?
NOT to discourage you! But I think your ENTHUSIASM is misplaced/misdirected! You will be BETTER served, if you use this as evidence for an/one argument for CHANGING the present political "system"! Than in HOPING that some "justice" will be "done".

#2. I just TRIED to access your profile and COULDN'T! I clicked on your profile, nothing. I even went so far as to do a NAME search for you! And was told that NO SUCH USER existed! You're NOT going to get any mail, IF people can't find you!
#3. What makes a man, a man a woman would be proud of? THAT is going to be as "different" as the women, themselves! Instead of TELLING a man what he NEEDS to be, get a conversation going first. And THEN decide f he meets YOUR desires/needs!
#4. STOP looking for My. "Right", and start looking for a GOOD man! A man who will give you what you want/need. A man who makes you feel good/happy/wanted. Mr. Perfect DOESN'T exist! And, IF you're looking for that PERFECT man, who's going to write you?

Boy! You're REALLY begging for me to step on some toes, with THIS question!
#1. End ALL government "entitlement" and "subsidy" programs! Make people realize they HAVE to EARN their daily bread, instead of feeding off the "fat" of other people's labor!
#2. Create a FREE world wide satellite internet system, and a worldwide database of ALL man's knowledge. This would give EVERYBODY access, to mankind's accumulated knowledge, plus END government censorship/control of information.
#3. Offer free online education to anybody who wanted it, over that free internet system.
#4. Create a flat across the board "consumption" tax. This would cause the biggest consumers of the worlds assets to foot most of the bills of the world. Between this, and #+1, this would reduce the government "payroll/cost" by probably 50%, plus simplify everybody's lives tremendously! And minimize tax evasion by the rich and powerful.
#5. Put a 1 term term limit on anybody serving the government, plus eliminate all the "perks" that politicians have given themselves, over the years. Things like free worldwide travel, security police, and secretaries, as well as the stupendous "retirement" pay (Golden Parachutes) packages they get! This would serve to eliminate the "professional" politicians, as well as the subsidies/bribes paid to them by industry/business/wealthy individuals in order to exercise influence over what legislation becomes law.
#6. Have automatic "sunset" terms for ALL legislation! This would swerve to reduce the number of laws on the "books", by removing all those AUTOMATICALLY that were no longer serving a beneficiary purpose to/for the people/government. Thus removing/reducing the work load on, and cost of the justice system. And change the judicial system from an "advesarial" system, to "truth" finding system.
#7. Make a 2 or 3 year government service period mandatory for ALL citizens! From the age of 18 to/through 20/21. This would provide the necessary military training to all citizens, plus, this manpower pool could be used to build "infrastructure" around the world. It would also serve to teach young people REAL "life" skills, as well as give them some exposure to the real life problems of the world. Which will influence their future behavior/interests, and pragmatism.
I COULD go on, for pages! But I don't have the time, OR the inclination to instruct on the basic problems, and the reasons FOR these problems, here. I can boil it down to one basic premise. Get "government" out of the people's hair, and make people responsible for themselves! This MAY sound harsh, to many of you. But it WILL make people "grow up"! And this will be the ONLY WAY we'll ever be able to "afford" to "care" for each other!
