I live in the suburbs of Plymouth, when i am in the UK, the suburbs are peacefu and quite safe. The city centre is safe in the afternoon and evening but into clubbing time it gets quite busy and more dangerous especially in the infamous Union Street, and the red light district.
All in all it's ok, but I like to traveland have lived in many different countries.
Thankyou for your good wished PK, The UK doesn't posess NI, they became part of the Uk of their own volition, and have repeatedly said they want to stay with the UK, I'm not going to take you on a tour of history about Ireland , I sggest you research it your self. I suggest the Rev Ian Paisly might be a good starting point, good luck.
Theresa May tries to turn screw on Corbyn after surviving no confidence vote Ellen Manning Yahoo News UK16 January 2019
Theresa May has criticised Jeremy Corbyn for refusing to take part in emergency Brexit talks after she scraped through a vote of no confidence in her Government’s handling of the crisis.
In a speech outside Downing Street on Wednesday night, the Prime Minister urged MPs to put self-interest aside and confirmed she had held talks with the SNP, Plaid and Lib Dems – but that Jeremy Corbyn had chosen not to take part.
Mr Corbyn had previously said he will only take part in cross-party talks if Mrs May takes the prospect of a ‘no deal’ Brexit off the table.
Elsewhere, significantly, it has emerged that the EU could be preparing to offer a delay in Brexit until next year, with French and German officials believing the UK to be in such a logjam that it will take at least 12 months to resolve.
Previous planning had centred on a three-month delay to Brexit from March 29 until the end of June but now, according to sources quoted by The Times, EU officials are investigating legal routes to postpone Britain’s withdrawal until 2020.
Brexit news latest: Theresa May refuses to budge on no deal and issues official call-out for troops to help manage EU exit chaos Evening Standard Simon Johnson,Evening Standard 22 hours ago
Theresa May today rebuffed growing calls to rule out a no-deal Brexit by issuing a formal call-out notice for troops to help manage any chaos triggered by Britain crashing out of the EU.
Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson told Parliament that 3,500 regular and reserve forces would be ready to be deployed across the country.
They could swiftly bolster responses to any no-deal threats to the “welfare, health and security of UK citizens” and to the “economic stability of the UK”, the Ministry of Defence stressed. Military fuel tanker drivers, engineers, planners and logistics experts could be sent in to deal with any food, medicine and petrol shortage crises, as well as offering support in Whitehall and to town halls.
Mr Willamson said: “We will have 3,500 service personnel held at readiness, including regulars and reserves, in order to support any government department on any contingencies they may need.” Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson (AP)
The UK is the sixth richest nation in the world. I agree we should be negotiating new deals wit NZ and Oz, but we will survive, at least our masters in Whitehall will ensure that.
